RTM = Final Version?

Forgive me... XP is about to RTM - release to manufacturers.

Now, does that mean it is almost finished?

Is the RTM in fact the same version that we are going to buy in stores, minus whatever additions or subtractions manufacturers make to their versions of XP?

RTM is the final release...yes. It is the same version that you will be able to buy in stores.
