iPhone OS 3.0 Release Date Changed?

Still says 17th on: http://www.apple.com/uk/iphone/softwareupdate/

I bet they've found the link to Singapore, where it has the 18th June.

I think that's most likely because of the time differences... but everyone is "omg!!!! date is tomorrow because it says so on this SG apple site". Or more, they miss the fact its not a US/UK site.

yea well this is going through the forums but has proven false/only partly right since it was stated on the apple.com/sg site for singapore. thing is...

Thing is, Singapore is 13 hours ahead EST, and a full 16 hours ahead of PST. In other words, if firmware 3.0 shows up at noon in NY, it'll be showing up tomorrow in Singapore, Japan, etc.

timezones can be pretty confusing. :p

Still says today on Apple's website :s.

Apple Australia are now saying tomorrow (18 June) you can look here and see yourself if you don't believe me. I actually though only the Australian release was delayed (wouldn't be the first or last time that would happen) guess it might be everyone...

Yes they are! :s thing is though, it originally said 17 June (i.e. today) and was updated to the 18th, it's sounding like it was adjusted so everyone gets it the same time (which makes perfect sense).

At least 4 hours till the 18th in aus, so I guess around 6 hours to wait :)

yeah and by the time its the 18th in austraila, its 6pm in england, 7pm in germany and 10am somewhere in the us so that pretty much makes sense, right? ;)
