Looking for a PCI graphics card that can handle Sims 3

I'm upgrading a PC for a friend and it only has an old PCI slot (no AGP).

Can anyone recommend a PCI graphics card that can play this game (if it's even possible)?

Here is what Newegg has to offer for PCI video cards. Basically there is a couple in there that might work but at that point, why bother? Tell him to start saving for a new pc.

Sims 3 only requires 128mb of ram and pixel shader 2.0! I believe any direct 9 or 10 card would have pixel shader 2.0 and much more than 128mb of onboard memory.

If his PC only has PCI slots then I doubt his CPU or RAM amount even meets the minimum specifications let alone the Graphics.

Perhaps you should list everything in the computer so we can better assess what you will need to play The Sims 3.
