Hey,

I've been working on these themes on and off. Decided to release them and to get rid of whatever bugs I can get rid of with the help of others.

So if you haven't jumped over to Windows 7 yet, and want to try a new theme out, feel free to try one of my themes :)

Two Aero themes and one Basic theme (on the right).

They all look beautiful! You should design them for Windows 7! :)

When is it going to be released? I will probably start porting one month before its official release. Any changes should be slim by then, however slim it already is at the moment. :)

I'm not keeping track of it so someone knowledgeable could probably help me here.

Thanks for your comment.

RTM should be out within the next week it appears... and it's going public October 22nd of this year. :)

Nice work! I especially like the "All programs" menu item. Even the "Basic" version of this theme looks great. If I was using Vista I'd give this a shot for sure. Keep it up! :D

Great theme! I like it a lot. And this is coming from someone who hasn't used a theme other than Windows Vista (Aero) since late-07. I found that a lot of the themes for Windows Vista out there don't do justice to the very theme they're replacing. I've spent many a day looking for a good theme and I finally found one. Good job.

I look forward to any of your future projects regarding themes in Windows Vista and Windows 7. One more thing, have you considered making a Clearscreen theme for Windows 7? Making the current Clearscreen themes compatible with Microsoft's next OS is definitely a step in the right direction.

Thanks for all the replies. :)

Thank you! That means quite a lot to me because I wanted this theme to be usable by anyone (well, not for the aging -- I think the low contrast might be too hard on their eyes, and I find it hard on mine sometimes on my laptop screen which looks whitewashed). In that sense it's not terribly unique or what I call "designer" theme. But hopefully pleasing to the eyes with proper monitor contrast and a theme people can enjoy.

I will eventually update the theme for Windows 7. But first, I want to iron out all the bugs in the Vista version before getting into W7.

Edit: Also surprised no one mentioned the lack of user picture. I take it that no one really uses it? I took that out because I never use it, but I'm sure there are people out there who do? I'll probably add another version with user picture enabled.

I like the user picture and would use a version that has it. I just didn't feel like mentioning it because I already requested a thin task bar version. I don't want to be a pest.

Thanks Gibletz :)
