im using (and loving) the theme, but am having the same problem as other themes, i cannot seem to get the user pics working... on the start menu!

please help :)

any chance of having the same background colours on both (file edit menu) and toolbars?? works ok in some prpgrams such as internet explorer, my computer... but in most progs the colours are diff...

can you please fix !

Great work on this visual style. It's been a personal favorite for a long time. ;) The Winamp skins do need to be lahrdened up a bit though. :happy:

Who said it was a bug?

If you want to change the colour of the menu bar you can find it at the top of each of the INI files in the VS (open it up using a resource editor of your choice). Change the line MenuBar=249 247 245 to MenuBar=237 233 227 to match the colour of the toolbars.

I made Enchancer (winamp plugin) skin using Themenorths images from his winamp metallic shades skin. Let me know if anyone is interested, i will upload it. If themenorth has nothing against it ofcourse:)

now i only upload screenshot:P

PS: Metallic Shades is the best style i've ever seen, respect:)

I came across this theme nearly 3 years ago. After so much time, I would say this one is the "cleanest" as far as I am concered: the task bar, the tool bar, the color, all the stuff. The VS is not very fancy, but very useable and it goes comfortably with Mathon and Foobar, etc. I always use this "metallic shades" on work, although I may try some other "colorful" VSs other time.
