He won't replace Alonso, that's for sure. He is a very different player. If he does get a solid first team place, it could force Gerrard wide or in centre mid with Mascherano, with Aquilani himself playing behind Torres in my opinion.

As for the game, I don't think any United fan can take anything positive from that game. The key was no Fletcher-esque player. I'm surprised Fergie hasn't noticed, against top teams Carrick and Scholes can't play together. Anderson to replace one of them might have done a better job. And no wonder Lucas and Mascherano both gave in terrific performances. Going to be very tight this season mind, though I don't think anybody will be fighting Chelsea (even with the African Nations coming soon).

We have a life. One day or another, you will get one too. Hopefully.

We played poorly, no doubt, we missed someone who can speed up even more the game, Nani and Valencia (who was very good on sunday) aren't like that yet.

But I still think 2-0 is not a fair result. We were technicaly far better than Liverpool. We didn't have enough goal opportunity.

We simply lost a battle, a battle every fan wants to win, sure, but it's no big deal. We don't need a tree to hide the forest, if you know what I mean. :shifty:

Technically better my arse. The only Man Utd player who showed an ounce of technique better than pub football level on Sunday was Berbatov. Lucas and Mascherano simply stopped you from playing, and your players could not deal with the atmosphere at Anfield.

Also, I think Frank was referring to Mail's absence from the thread btw.

Fans with an S, so I guess he means every United fans who participate in this thread. And I still believe, although it's clearly a fact and not a belief, that we were better technicaly. And about not dealing with the atmosphere at Anfield, please... We managed to win games in way more hostile atmosphere than Anfield, like Besiktas one month ago for example.

La la la la la...

In the words of Slur Alex:

"We didn't handle the atmosphere of the game, I thought."

I was mainly referring to Mail yes, but then he only comes into the thread to troll anyway. I guess nothuman just took my little joke a bit too personally xD

Childish and typical Liverpool supporter... That's why you can't talk with them.

 righto champ ;)

For being correct?

Typical Man Utd supporter: not from Manchester, never been to a game.

Thta's exactly why I will never take you seriously. For one, you support Liverpool, which is highly questionnable. Second, you seem to think that only you can be called a supporter. Do I need to point you that a f... lot of Liverpool supporters comes from other countries, and so never been to a game? So in your logic (then again, childish and stupid) those supporters in fact aren't? Please... grow a brain, and for once, get the f... out of your little head and go see further Liverpool (the city), you'll see, it's brighter outisde.

I never understood why Martyn always says that about other team and their fans. Hell, for example I support The All Blacks rugby team in New Zealand and I have never been to NZ or a professional Rugby match. However, I have close friends who played the sport for my university and we all started supporting them and watching them a few years back. Does that make me less of a fan? I really dont think so, I am probably more hardcore about it than a lot of "local" fans are.

gregb0b, it's because most fans who are 'local' to their team think they have a divine right to be the 'true' supporters of their football club. And they assume most of us who are not from the city, town etc... are just glory supporters who 'picked' the team who were doing well.

A guy supporting the team of his home town... yeah, so questionable

The most questionable thing is you supporting man united, one could even speculate that you are in the generation that believes that football was invented by sky sports in 1993 and have hopped on the Man United glory train like most of their other supporters.

Until you have actually been to a town like Liverpool, Manchester, London, ETC you are not in the right place to comment about local passion, you are clearly clueless about it. Come over here, visit one of those places, then actually try getting a clue.

It is always good to see Liverfail lose :)

Until your team of bottlers can win a European cup I will be laughing just as hard in your direction :)

I pretend not to see the lamest trial of intent* I've ever read and just said to you the same thing I've said to Martyn: grow a brain. Please.

With your logic you can say "why the f... do you support Liverpool and not Everton? You too are a glory hunter and not a real supporter. See? Pretty lame right? And that's exactly how you two sound, even one of you one day said so. Pathetic.

*I don't know if it's the right word, sorry if it's not, but you know, I'm french, and I'ver never been to England so my english is not so very good...

I support Liverpool because I grew up in a family of Liverpool supporters, and that has stuck with me. The time I started to personally support them was one of the worst in the club's history so i'd hardly call me a "glory hunter"

And the difference is supporting Liverpool or Everton would be reasonable for a person from Liverpool. You aren't even from Manchester at all, in fact as you don't even live in this country, that makes your support of Man United far more questionable than Martyn's support of Liverpool.

Pretty disappointing result, but not overly surprising given a lot of our first teamers where not involved. Sounds like Aquilani had an impact though, which is promising

Same thing could be said about Arsenal not havingi its first team. >:D Then again, you guys had Babel, Voronin and others in the second half...

How is it questionable that I support Liverpool? I am from Liverpool, my family supports Liverpool and I actually go to games and stand on The Kop. Unless of course, it was a 'humourous' comment from you that I support Liverpool, in which case that makes you a hypocrite for in turn calling me childish.

FYI, I have seen more of the real world than 'Liverpool', I'm studying a degree in another city you bad mong. Supporting a team is either done through location or family, it's people like you who stop 9 year old Scousers or Mancunians actually getting a ticket these days.

blablabla lame blabla I lulz

How could I stop a 9 year old Scousers or Mancunians actually getting a ticket these days by living so far away from Old Trafford? :x

Do you even listen to yourself? God I am bored... It's the last time I said to you, please GROW A F...... BRAIN! Don't try to make me feel guilty for doing nothing more than supporting the team I love. And don't add racism and hatefulness to your stupidity. Seriously, "Supporting a team is either done through location or family"? You crossed a line, it ain't funny anymore.

    • This and Crazy Taxi are the two games that interested me the most from this showcase.
    • Good, because the nonstop chattering from the voices in her head made me quit the second game.
    • This new cabinet design lets you run AMD, Intel, and Nvidia PCs inside one case by Sayan Sen At Computex 2026 earlier this month, AMD announced a couple of new X3D processors for both sockets AM4 and AM5 as it confirmed the support extension of the latter till 2029. And although Intel didn't unveil any new desktop chips, the company's Core Ultra 200S Plus series is relatively new too. Let's say though that you want the best of both worlds simultaneously, and instead of running two different systems, you can have both running together side-by-side, or rather on top of one another. That's exactly what Thermaltake's CAPO X dual system is made for doing. While it's not exactly mandatory to run AMD with Intel, or vice versa, you get the idea. As you can see in the render above, it is essentially like a double-decker PC case that is capable of holding two microATX (mATX) motherboards. Even running just one discrete graphics card in a PC can get toasty, so you may be wondering how well the cooling is designed on the CAPO X, Thermaltake has confirmed, as is evident from the marketing promo image above, that the case supports up to two 360 mm AIO liquid coolers. 420mm is not supported. In total there is room for 13 120mm case fans. In terms of I/O (input/output) options for the two systems, there are naturally two places for those ports, one at the top and one at the very bottom of the chassis in the front panel. In terms of use cases, there are many possibilities. Thermaltake itself, for example, highlights how one system can be your main PC while the other could be the AI agent PC. Another example given is how it can be used to stream and game simultaneously with dedicated systems instead of hogging one with the entire load. Nothing regarding pricing or availability was said. • There might be some passive design improvements (cooling, etc), but I doubt they'd change the core performance spec of the hardware mid-generation when they've already got a new console in development.
    • State of Decay 3 is out in 2027, reveals Plague Nests with new co-op gameplay trailer by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe A few months ago, Undead Labs broke its silence about the third entry in the State of Decay series since its announcement in 2020. Today, the studio had a brand-new trailer to reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase, finally giving players a look at the Unreal Engine 5-powered title. A broad 2027 release window is now attached to State of Decay 3 too. The studio confirmed that every scene seen in the gameplay trailer (except for the studio logo) released today is from the game with no cinematic footage. "The quality bar of the moment-to-moment experience is higher than anything we’ve achieved in Undead Labs’ history," says the studio. "State of Decay 3 is being built in Unreal Engine 5, and we’re creating better quality versions of what makes our game the survival sandbox it is, and the combat experience is really, really important to us, and I think you can see it coming through in this trailer." One new aspect of this upcoming entry is the Plague Nests. These are supposed to be dynamic, dungeon‑like enemy hubs with varied “personas” that change tactics each time one appears on a map. These areas will have the best loot in the game for players brave enough to tackle them. The combat system is being overhauled too, letting players do quick and power attacks depending on the situation. This isn't just on the player's side though, as zombies themselves now have multiple new types of behaviors depending on how fresh or decayed they are. "All of these play very differently, especially as you start getting outnumbered or when you’re making noise and running around and trying to save your rear end or the rear end of your friend next to you," adds the developer. Of course, settlement building and community management are massive parts of this third entry too. These are being further expanded with the cooperative focus, giving players much more freedom for playing together than in State of Decay 2. Players will even be able to split up and build settlements in different areas of the same map with different goals. Undead Labs confirmed that playtests are already ongoing for the title, and interested players can sign up to participate by heading over here once more slots open up ahead of the full release. State of Decay 3 is coming out on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Game Pass sometime in 2027.
