Mascherano, Torres and Carragher, three players who are still on the pitch that shouldn't. Not to mention Gerrard. I do not know what Benitez does in the dark with the FA officials, but it ain't pretty.

Oh, but Darren Fletcher is Mr. Perfect :)? It clearly wasn't a penalty either, learn some rules Frenchy.

And I thought Pool fans might have just accepted they were the worse team. You guys have the Europa League next year to play for right? Oh wait...

Oh, but Darren Fletcher is Mr. Perfect :)?

Yes he is. Not a single dangerous tackle and he wins the ball cleanly. He did have a very good game, great passing and a great cross for the goal. He was better than any player on your side.

The initial shirt pulling was outside the box but you've gotta give credit to Valencia for keeping his balance and then going to the ground in the box. Mascherano should have the experience to bring him down outside the box when he's clean on goal, not let him run into the penalty box and then continue tugging his shirt.

Premier League - Paper Round: Fergie 'controls everything'

Eurosport - Mon, 22 Mar 09:03:00 2010

Rafael Benitez has accused Sir Alex Ferguson of 'influencing everything', including referee Howard Webb, in the aftermath of Manchester United's 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Managers: Benitez suspicious

Early Doors: They think it's all over...

On the eve of the match Fergie claimed the FA and officials were biased against United, but Benitez responded by saying, "we know about the influence of Sir Alex in everything".

The Liverpool boss was asked if United winger Antonio Valencia dived, to which Benitez responded: "Yes, I think so. I've seen three replays and the last one was very suspicious."

The Daily Star have Carlo Ancelotti telling Manchester United that the title is 'theirs to lose' after declaring that Ferguson's side "are now the favourites."

Wayne Rooney has been left so incredulous about being linked with Real Madrid that the United striker has been phoning friends in Spain to ask what all the fuss about (Daily Mirror).

Celtic and Roma are heading the queue to sign Portsmotuh left-back Nadir Belhadj, with £2 million the required price for the 27-year-old Algerian who Pompey paid Lens £4.4m for two years ago (The Sun).

The same paper report that LA Galaxy striker Landon Donovan will not be returning to Everton after three days of talks stopped an MLS players' strike.

The Daily Mail have property developer Rob Lloyd, who is heading the latest consortium trying to buy Portsmouth, also making grand promises to Everton over financing a new stadium at Kings Dock.

The previous project at the site collapsed in 2003, while Lloyd's Eatonfield Group offered £30m for Goodison Park and the Bellefield training ground, on which they wanted to build homes and a supermarket.

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has been forced to give up on signing Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko after the Russian's recent form, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Blues had a £10m bid for the striker turned down in January, but McLeish now thinks his offer has given the striker too much confidence as Spurs continue to increase his asking price.

Blackburn are interested in signing Egyptian star Shikabala of Zamalek, with the 24-year-old playmaker capable of playing anywhere across midfield, according to the Daily Mail.

The same paper focuses on the return to training of Sheffield United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, whose drug ban is due to end on April 22.

Meanwhile, according to The Sun, David Beckham could star in a Vinnie Jones remake of the cult football war film Escape to Victory in the role of captain Bobby Moore.

rafa is a giant baby... it was a penalty, lucky it wasn't a red. You could may argue that it shouldn't have been in the box, but that far fetched too... Liverpool did not deserve the game. The one thing i will agree with rafa the game completely changed after that call and we no longer really had a chance after that goal. What took him so long to make those bloody subs is another thing, but the second half was all man u. Torress choking on two solid chances in the second half too was heart breaking as well :( Other then his goal he had a bad game... and gerrard was a ghost too.

Yeah Ferguson is so in control, he stopped the FA from banning Steven Gerrard for a forearm smash on Micheal Brown!!

All the top managers act the same, they're so big headed they can't see that.

that was pretty bad but its the case with football people will get pulled up for some and not for others

On Monday evening the Football Association released the following statement:

"The FA has received a claim for wrongful dismissal from Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen.

"Vermaelen was shown a red card for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity during Arsenal's match against West Ham United on Saturday 20 March.

"A Regulatory Commission will hear the claim on Tuesday 23 March."

Vermaelen could be back for the next match..

could be is the word...depends how the FA feel for the day :p

clearly not a good day :p

The Football Association has dismissed Arsenal's appeal against defender Thomas Vermaelen's red card in the 2-0 win over West Ham on Saturday.

The 24-year-old was sent off for a foul on Guillermo Franco that referee Martin Atkinson ruled denied the West Ham striker a goal scoring opportunity.

The Belgian defender will be suspended for Saturday's trip to Birmingham as the Gunners continue their title push.

Vermaelen has scored seven league goals following a ?10m summer move from Ajax.

His absence, along with centre-back partner William Gallas through what manager Arsene Wenger describes as an "endless calf injury" is sure to test the Gunners' strength in depth as they approach a crucial period in the club's season.

are you joking me? even if I weren't a Gunners fan this would make me wonder...

They don't like us at FA.. just look at the history.. anyways he'll get some well deserved rest before Barca game..

"Endless calf injury" means he might be on his way out next season.. that's the kind of injuries Henry and many others develop before they are sold.. hope we have someone in mind to replace him and that someone is not Sol or Silvestre..

    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
    • Outlook classic is inherently better than new outlook, for a number of reasons. That said, if the only reason people need office is to read email, they should just use thunderbird.
    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
    • Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs. If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.

Video can also be exported to DV devices, or written to a DVD with chapters and a simple menu. Video editing features: Multi-track editing with a timeline and supports an unlimited number of video and audio tracks. A built-in title editor and tools to create, move, crop and delete video clips, audio clips, text clips and image clips. Ability to add custom effects and transitions. Visual effects include options for masking, blue-screen, distortions, rotations, colour tools, blurring, obscuring and others. Configurable keyboard shortcuts and interface layouts. Rendering is done using a separate non-blocking process so it can be stopped, paused and restarted. Kdenlive also provides a script called the Kdenlive Builder Wizard (KBW) that compiles the latest developer version of the software and its main dependencies from source, to allow users to try to test new features and report problems on the bug tracker. Project files are stored in XML format. An archiving feature allows exporting a project among all assets into a single folder or compressed archive.
