AIM 7 beta 2 uses a new .aba format to compress directories into one single .aba file. This makes editing files that used to be in those directories impossible without access to the aba file contents. I have been able to confirm that the new aba format (something like aim binary achieve) is made using ZLIB compression.
Can some of the amazing and wonderful programmers from Neowin crack the file, and get access to it's contents? Any and all help is appreciated. I uploaded the file that I need access to.
Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary to compete against AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update but that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.
