As you've no doubt gathered, the April 1 episode is an 1980s flashback in which we meet Peter's mother, learn what happened to him and why Olivia sees him glimmering. And why he owes the Observer his life. Almost all his backstory will be filled in. Plus, we'll get a pretty good idea why Nina lost her arm to "cancer." [TV Guide]

Also, we'll meet Walter's former lab assistant. (Wondering if that could be the same person as Peter's mother?) [Fancast]

Get Ready for Fringe...the MUSICAL!

Just when you thought FRINGE couldn?t get any stranger, a funny thing happened on the way to the forum in a little underground Harvard Lab.

On our recent visit to the set of FRINGE, the cast ? looking for something, heck, anything to share that didn?t involve spilling the beans on the super-secret two-part second season finale that is currently filming as we speak ? let it slip that as part of Fox?s May Sweeps programming, which will have many of your favorite Fox shows tapping into their inner Gleek, the Fringe Division will be breaking out into song!

?This is a Sci-fi show and I kind of figured the roles would be set and that would be what you do,? teased Jasika Nicole (Astrid) who will perform a song from A Chorus Line as part of a story-line that involves Walter telling a bedtime story to Olivia?s niece. ?But to be in period makeup and get to sing, I?ve ended up doing way more that I ever imagined I would.? Added actor Lance Reddick who seemed to relish the opportunity to let his guard down and put his musical background to good use. ?We all sing and I play the piano,? revealed Reddick. ?I can play the piano, but I?m not a pianist. They sent me the recording and I pretty much had to learn it by rope.?

?Overture? will air on April 29 at 9PM on FOX.

opening sequence

I got a phone call just after "Previously, on Fringe" - Grrrrrr! I put the TV on mute. I think the opening sequence was just supposed to be retro, due to the bulk of the show being set in the past - if I remember some of the subjects that they showed correctly, some were considered fringe-science during the 80's. (I don't really think it's a spoiler, though.)

The retro opening was freaking awesome.

Although it was a near replica of the 'mysteries of the universe' stuff from before season 6 of Lost

Great episode. Now they better tell us why Peter is important sometime soon.

Indeed, that opening sequence rocked. A great episode. Good thing is that it runs non-stop to the finale

      I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.

      CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
