The statue of Liberty is copper but it turned green due to oxidation. I guess on the other side they found a way to prevent that and keep it looking nice and shiny. Seems like that would be easy for them considering the level of technology.

I was expecting more screenshots of the other side. I am disappoint. :p

A few things I was wondering. I wonder why they moved the DOD HQ to the Statue of liberty and not to a bigger office building, since the Pentagon was/is one of the largest office buildings in the world. Why does their Statue look different, was it hit on 9/11 or that's just the way theirs is meant to look. It seems obvious they have some sort of bacta tank technology on their side, but I wonder if they have devices to bring people back to life. The dialogue at the start of the episode seemed to imply those 4 had died before as a result of doing a previous quarantine and yet didn't seem all that fazed at the thought of possibly dying again. Finally I'd like to see what happened in their Boston that they spoke briefly about at the start and I want to see more of the "blight" they mentioned earlier in the season.

The Statue of Liberty there (and here) is made of copper. Looks like in the Alternate Universe, they keep it shined up nice. Here's a question though, what is the 'First People' in the opening 'Red' intro to this weeks episode?

That stood out for me too when I watched it. In North America "First People" might refer to the Native Americans but I think they meant something else with that. :p

Unless history played out quite differently when the Europeans first sailed over. After all Martin Luther King Jr. was on their money.

the more you hear about the world, the more I feel kinda sorry for them. They already said the blight was destroying plant life in their world and coffee for one thing was very rare. I'm sure there's other stuff in the world that's been destroyed that may end up being directly traced back to when Walter originally crossed over.

any guess on why the Statue of Liberty is Bronze? or did Ghostbusters 2 really happen?

The Statue of Liberty gets its green color from the natural patina formed on its copper surface.
