If you actually watched the episode there is a reason they could not do it the way walter did in the past, because it would possibly rip apart the whole universe.

I did watch the episode, in fact i haven't missed an episode. I know they explained a little bit into the difference between then and now, what i'm saying is it still doesn't make sense. How was Peter so easily crossed back etc.. It just doesn't add up. And perhaps what frustrates me even more so is that when questioning how to cross over, Walter knows exactly how to do it, when to do it, how many people to do it with and all the consequences, within 30 seconds.

Can't wait for the finale tonight.

Same here, gonna be kick-ass (Y)

Astrid/Walter are coming down to London at the end of the month as part of the Fringe panel at the MCM Expo. Man, I really want to go but I doubt I'll get time off work at such short notice :(

They're about 30 years ahead in technology (the other side), I'm sure they've found ways to cross safely since they seem to do it a lot more. When Walter crossed in 85, he literally ripped a hole open in the universe to cross through, one that weakened the other side, causing anomalies there that they are still trying to understand to this day. Doing so again could destroy one universe. The other side seems to have found a way to cross without causing damage to our side (as far as we know).

The fate? She's locked up.

Surely that can't be the end of her, can it?

Further, there's no reason why Olivia cannot rip open a pocket between the universes and escape from Walternates' prison. She has the power, she just doesn't know how to use it to her full potential. Walternate has to have a use for her (maybe he knows she has been treated with Cortexiphan), else he would have killed her.

I love watching Fringe. I don't think I have missed any shows at all.

I hope they renew it and don't cancel it like my other favorite show Heroes. Now that ****es me off.

It has already been renewed for a third season. And Heroes sucked.
