In episode 6x07, there's a big scene where Sun, Ben, Frank, Ilana and Miles are on the beach, and they're surprised to see Jack, Hurley and Richard suddenly appear out of the jungle. This could be the big reunion of the 1970s and 2007 timelines ? except then why would Miles already be there? And why is Richard arriving with Jack and Hurley? In any case, everyone embraces, and Claire is there, looking tough with straight black hair. [The Transmission via SpoilersLost]

"Lost" has added another guest star to its final season: former "L.A. Law" regular Sheila Kelley.

Kelley, who also starred in "Singles" and is the creator of the pole-dancing workout program S Factor, will have a recurring part in the coming season, ABC confirms. Her character, per EW.com, will be a sharp-witted woman who's "caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out."

Whether that's an accurate description of the character or a bit of disinformation from Dharma HQ remains to be seen (it's looking like "Lost" will return in January).Kelley joins a guest-star roster for season six that also includes William Atherton ("Life," "Die Hard"), Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada and "Deadwood's" John Hawkes.

So if you've been paying attention, you'll know that Benjamin Linus is a schoolteacher, and his adopted daughter Alex is a schoolgirl, in the show's new alternate timeline. And fans caught glimpses of shooting at a suburban house, where Roger Linus, Ben's dad, comes to visit Ben. And they overheard Roger telling Ben, "This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben." And then Alex shows up at Ben's door, rings the doorbell, and he answers. They talk for a while, and then she tells Ben he's the best. And then leaves. Ben lingers at the doorway, then closes it. One "Lost" mystery down: 1 million to go.

The final season of ABC's "Lost" -- boo hoo, did we really say final? -- will premiere Tuesday, Feb. 2, with a two-hour event at 9 p.m., ABC announced today. (Yes, that's a new night for the island mystery).

That means we are 76 days away from learning if the hydrogen bomb Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) hit with a rock before she presumably died in the fifth season finale erases the past and changes the future, like Jack (Matthew Fox) wanted?

We don't know how we feel about this. If the past is erased, does that mean all of the hours we've logged with the castaways didn't happen either? What have we been doing all these years?

Answers, soon, Losties. Answers, in our destiny, soon. In the meantime, watch the promotional video and see if you can help getting a little choked up.

There's been a ton of new filming, for episode 6x08, which appears to be all about Sawyer. There were some scenes involving Sawyer and Charles Widmore, aboard that submarine that we've seen so much of in the past. They went down the hatch and the crew filmed some scenes on board, then filmed them coming out of it together.

And then Sawyer had some scenes with Miles ? and it looked like the two were partners in law enforcement. Sawyer had a badge on his belt, Miles had a gun on his hip. Sawyer is sitting in a nondescript Mercury parked outside La Brea Property Management in Pacific Tower. Sawyer beckons to Miles, who tries to blow him off and walk away, but Sawyer yells out and stops him, and then opens the passenger door. So Miles gets in the car, and Sawyer gives him one of two cups of coffee, then shows him a folder full of photographs. Miles looks through them, and then pauses to look at one of them in more detail. (If Sawyer really is a cop, it's odd that they were filming a scene where he "cons" Charlotte earlier.)

And then a woman driving a blue car crashes into Sawyer's cop car, and then the woman gets out and runs away ? and it's Kate, wearing a hoodie to hide her face. She runs down an alley, knocking over a pile of boxes. Here's a bit of set

.

And then there's a scene where Sawyer grabs Kate by the collar and pushes her up against a doorway. Here are some set pics. More at the links. [Hawaii Weblog and Hawaii Weblog]

    • In a major surprise there is actually some good deals for the first time in years. At least for me.
    • Limited time Prime Day deal cuts price of this Hisense 65" 4K smart TV in half by Ivan Jenic It’s Amazon Prime Day, and brands are offering great deals to consumers. One of the best deals of the day is definitely this Hisense 65" U7, which is currently $799.99 on Amazon, down from $1,499.99. That's nearly 50% off and $700 saved on this feature-packed 4K TV (purchase link down below). The U7 uses Mini-LED backlighting with up to 3,000 local dimming zones and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. That means blacks are truly deep and highlights are punchy enough to hold up even in bright rooms. The screen is covered with a dual-layer anti-reflection coating, which prevents the afternoon overhead lights from washing the picture. For gaming, the native 165Hz refresh rate and VRR 330 support make this one a great TV option for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The TV even features a native game mode, which should help minimize the input lag for a better gaming experience. Audio is handled by a 2.1.2 channel system tuned by Devialet, which is a notable partnership for a TV at this price. Additionally, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced are all supported. It runs Fire TV with Alexa+ built in. So, if you’re looking for a sharp, large screen to watch the World Cup on, the U7 at this price is definitely an attractive option. Speaking of which, Hisense is the official sponsor of the World Cup, which should mean absolutely nothing to you, and isn’t the reason why you should by this TV. The reason why you should buy it is that it’s “la bella televisione, HDTV-compatible, beautiful,” and available at half the price.
