I'd like to see them write round that one! I do remember seeing the writer mention on Spoiler TV that if this is indeed Jack Bauer's swansong, he would really like to bring back Teri Bauer! Hmmmm... :wacko:

Tony Almeida 'not returning to 24'

Carlos Bernard has said that it is highly unlikely that he will return for the next season of 24.

The actor, who plays Tony Almeida in the real-time Fox drama, made the comment on his official website.

Bernard said: "I'm asked this question on a daily basis, so I might as well answer it. I'll never say never when it comes to 24.

"It's been such a special part of my life and an honour working with all of the incredibly talented people that have helped make the show the success that it's been."

He added: "That being said, I have not been contacted by the studio or producers of 24 about season eight.

"They're already well into filming next season and I'm about to start work on a film in South Carolina. So, at this point, I highly doubt that I'll be involved in the next season of 24."

      Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

      I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
