I've been making my way through each season (over the past month - I have the Complete Series Collection) to pump myself up for Season 8. You could say that I'm a bit of a fanatic... :yes:

always good for a refresher of the series :D

I love 24 (minus the last 2 seasons which were crap)

Season Seven (along with Six) was (were) not the greatest; Season Five remains as my all-time favorite. The lengthy "airing gap" between Season Six and Season Seven caused me to lose a little bit of faith, and I was therefore expecting whatever was coming to be spectacular. Unfortunately, it was only so-so.

Hah, exactly! The only real strengths of the previous season (in my opinion) were the addition of John Voight as Jonas Hodges and the brief-but-excellent return of James Morrison as Bill Buchanan. It would have also been nice to hear more about the ultimate termination of CTU as an agency... they failed to go into detail about that situation.
