Where is he?

He kinda took a cooperating key former-terrorist as hostage and almost killed him before Jack shot Curtis :o

Obviously Jack just wanted to disarm Curtis and tried to save his life but the damage was too severe, it was too late.

RIP Curtis

Or at least that's how I remember it, may be wrong :D

'24' halts production

Star Kiefer Sutherland undergoes surgery

By Nellie Andreeva

Feb 15, 2010, 01:13 AM ET

Fox's drama '24' has shut down production so star Kiefer Sutherland can undergo surgery for a ruptured cyst.

The rapture happened earlier last week but production continued through Friday with scenes that did not involve Sutherland, who also serves as an executive producer on the real-time drama.

Filming then was suspended until late this week when Sutherland is expected to return to work.

"While Kiefer Sutherland is frustrated to miss even one day of work, he and Fox decided together that it would be best to complete this minor elective procedure now," the actor's pblicist said in a statement.

Added producing studio 20th TV, "We hope to resume production shortly and do not anticipate any disruption in the broadcast of this season's episodes."

Sutherland has been very conscious about his duties on the show. During the 2007-08 season, he opted to serve his full jail sentence stemming from his September 2007 drunk driving arrest in two installments to prevent any disruption to the series' production schedule.

The current eighth season of '24' is drawing a lot of attention as it could be the long-running show's last.

Couldn't Jack have a Decoy profile where he work for by the CTU? Or, that wouldn't work against this Russian guy? Did I miss something?

Didn't take Jack too long to OWN the terrorists already!!!

"I KILLED MY OWN SON FOR NOTHING!"

OWNED!!!

best quote by Jack

"Son you better put that down or your going to get hurt"

also did anyone catch this on the news, they were saying that 24 production was being halted due to Kiefer getting surgery??/

Look a few replies up....

OMG i'm getting so tired of 24.. i really believed they might have a good season until tonights episode. The show would be much more believable if we knew Jack was some sort of Terminator or something, jesus.

1. Acting this season is BAAADDDD.

2. The Dana side story is annoying, because they did no character development and you have no reason to even care what happens to her.

3. Dana is scared CTU will find out about her and she'll lose her job??? But during a nuclear crisis she's can hang out at a strip club and know her job is secure???

4. Jack can get stabbed, shot, hung while being electrocuted for a good half hour, yet he has enough energy to pull down a pipe and shock someone unconscious within 5 seconds???

5. Jack can knock someone unconscious by flipping a table on them??? After being shot with a shotgun??

Good lord, it just gets worse. How do the writers not see how ridiculous this is.

Here comes MORE complaints even about 24!!! Should I DEFEND??

well do you think it needs defending?

I stopped watching about 5 episodes in, seems the same ol same to me.

I would like a movie to wrap everything up

Same Ol, but Quality is still MUCH better than the final episodes of Heroes, IMO I preferred 24 over Heroes!

Give a few episodes see where it goes from here. Don't rush into judgement... there a TONS of episodes left!

yeh but you just compared Heroes to 24 both completely different shows and appeals to different audiences.

Am I the only one that can't stand Hastings? The guy is terrible. What's up with his facial expression? I wonder if it's the character's or the actor's. Just plain annoying.

Agreed. He is always hunched over for some reason. I'm serious! look at the frame level vs his head level. It's always tilted down.

24 hit a new series low last night, early viewing figures indicate.

The 9pm instalment, which aired against NBC's Winter Olympics coverage, pulled in a lowly 8.5 million. A House rerun, which served as a lead-in to the real-time drama, managed 6.8m.

CBS's repeats performed as follows: How I Met Your Mother and Accidentally On Purpose had 5.9m and 5.6m during the 8pm hour, then 10.6m watched Two And A Half Men at 9pm. The Big Bang Theory followed at 9.30pm, drawing 10.1m, then the 10pm CSI: Miami drew 8.4m.

The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love attracted 11.8m to ABC between 8pm and 10pm, then a Castle rerun took 5.7m.

One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected interested 1.9m and 1.8m for The CW at 8pm and 9pm respectively.

NBC's live Olympics coverage averaged 25.5m across primetime.

And he better tuck in his lip, otherwise it'll get caught on a tripwire.

Forrest Gump reference for those of you that didn't get it since he played Bubba.

why do you insist on comparing everything with heroes...i think most people agree that Heroes is terrible now...but why is it that every show you like that someone might complain about you're all like "well at least it isn't as bad as heroes"

and why do you feel the need to defend a tv show...its a tv show...people have their own opinions and you arguing like a 12 year old on the internet about how they're doody-heads for not liking the shows isn't going to help....escpecillay when it shows they used to like that they feel are starting to get boring, too unrealistic, etc....(whatever their complaints may be) its not like they just decided to start hating a show they enjoyed for no reason...

I still find 24 to be a great show. I also believe that this is certainly not the best season but it is the logical evolution of the show. What do you expect them to do on 24 more or different? I feel that it is still the best series out there and I hope to see a couple of seasons more.

    • UK to ban under-16s from social media following a six-week trial with teenagers by Paul Hill Credit: Pexels A few months ago, Neowin reported that the UK was trialing a social media ban with 300 teenagers for six weeks, that testing has come to an end, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the country will ban under-16s from social media. Starmer said that this technology is making children unhappy and making it easier for bullies to harass and abuse them. He continued to talk about the addictive nature of social media, saying that it uses an infinite scroll designed to lock users in for hours. He said this interferes with children doing their homework, reading, playing with friends outside, and going to bed on time. Tackling the idea that nothing can be done about social media, Starmer said: The government’s action won’t stop at social media either, the PM said. It plans to take action on gaming services and livestreaming platforms. Right now, he said, strangers can contact any child unchecked. He said this wouldn’t happen in real life, and the government is going to stop it from happening online, too. The Labour government has overseen the introduction of the Online Safety Act, a big change to the internet which includes age verification on adult websites. This has led to a fair bit of backlash, but overall, the government is pushing ahead with these changes.

    • I'll wait for the root cause analysis. Looks like it's HP, Lenova, and certain configurations that are askew, hardly "all of windows." Time will tell.
