It is getting a little ridiculous with CTU always getting hit and there always being a mole. You would think they could screen their employees a little bit better.

The head of CTU (Hastings) sucks at acting. He is always hanging his head. It is annoying. I want Bill back.

Renae is hot

Yes, this show is kinda SAME every season, but that's like the signature of this show now, instead of a quality issue.

WHY expect any different this season?

At least it has REAL action and suspense ALL the time, unlike other shows that has NO suspense and pretend-actions. Especially amoung some of the shows that contain 'Superhero' characters... you thought there would be battles constantly.

The NSA guy shows up.

"I'm here to help, wheres your server room"

then 30 seconds later

"Well I was part of the team that built this place."

If you built it, you know where the server room is.

I am not sure if that's exactly what's said, but just because they help build it, doesn't mean they are actually there.

Like same at work, corporate heads at retails for instance Best Buy, they don't actually work at any Best Buy stores, but they work at a corporate Office...they may never been to any of the actual stores.

Just, no.

He clearly said he knows the place inside and out because he helped set it up. Thats the reason he gave for using himself and his own people.

But he needed someone to show him where the server room was.

Just terrible writing.

Oh I agree. It is unclear how this subplot will play a roll, but I'm certainly more interested in the main plot at this point. I predict that Dana is actually a bad guy... :shifty:

I mean, why else would she have falsified her identity!? Its not like she couldn't have gotten a good non-government job with a smaller amount of effort. I think that the russians put her there.

I called it! Except I got the Russians wrong. Edit: Not that it is some major feet. This show is pretty predictable after 8 seaons, lol :p.

OK here are some key points of the last episode of 24.

1) Renee baddass walker

2) Don't **** with starbuck

3) Jack Says "He's gone" (at which point I yell) "DAMIT!!!"

4) Amazing how tapping into the trunk line also fixed all the fried motherboards in CTU, its like magic.

5) She killed Milton!!! All he ever wanted was his stapler!

and finally.

6) A MOLE?!!?!?!?!?! ANOTHER ****ING MOLE????!!!!!!!!

Nice post Rappy, Rack Bauer ftw :)

But seriously how ****ing lame of a twist with Dana being a mole. So pulled out of their asses. Pathetic really. Although no shock Jedi thinks its the greatest thing EVER. I hardly consider ****ty writing the shows signature but its certainly turning out that way. Episode was right about the NSA guy, just another gaping hole in this shows writing. Least Renee capped a few of them, that was moderately entertaining.

lol.. I've always hated Walsh.. she's ugly and she's now a mole.. guess all she needs now is to be killed off and FPJ going on a killing spree, of course Jack stops him LOL.

Least Renee capped a few of them, that was moderately entertaining.

I love how she did in 4 shots what Jack and whatever his name couldn't do in 200+.

And why is it Jack is the only one who knows how to do his job? The rest of the police around him seem to be absolutely clueless.

Not to mention she did it with a pistol and he did nothing with a assault rifle with added scope :D

That was what ****ed me off the most. Jack Bauer is suppose to be am expert marksman. He shouldve been able to take those chumps out with a couple of shots each. Lame...

he's getting older :p sight is going!

I think they should just reboot 24 and have Renee as the lead :D

*SIGH* again with the personal attacks that is Ridiculous

EVERY time I think something was great, a lot of other people on other forums Agrees with me, not sure why Neowinians disagree but it's not a fair cause for YOU to personal attack me at all!

I agree with you Jedi. It seems as though we have a lot of annoying "can't-please" people around here that just love to hate on everything. But given the opportunity, none of them could do a better job at writing the show.

The same set of people seem to hate:

Smallville

Lost

Heroes

24

The reason for any personal attacks is because you OVER EXAGGERATE like a teenage girl at a Jonas Brothers concert. I wouldn't say anything if maybe EVERY TIME you post, you didn't act like it was the GREATEST thing ever. Not to mention you spam threads by posting back to back or even answering YOUR OWN QUESTIONS.

Plus it wouldn't kill you to type a single sentence without capitalizing words and bolding others. And honestly, how are posts like this beneficial to anyone?

HOW I never notice that Renee has a big Rack?

She got TOO much cloth on! :p

LOLIMAOROFL!!!1 good one..

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
