My wife and I were only about a third of the way through before we missed one week, then a second, all the way up until nearly two thirds of the season had aired. We're now only two episodes behind and will probably be caught up by the end of next week. Some annoyances and notes:

  • Dana. That twist came out of left field and really didn't make any sense. She kills the overly persistent parole officer and suddenly has to call the terrorists, whereas nothing before even remotely hinted at her being a mole. And what annoyed me more than this "twist" was that after the reveal, her demeanor changed so that it matches a "bad guy" look. Shady eyes and all. Before twist: no shady eyes, just a nervous wreck. After twist: shady eyes and with a certain level of confidence. Yeah... and then when she finally gets caught, she keeps looking at the camera in the interrogation room with a menacing look. My wife jokingly said, "Now she has bags under her eyes to make her look more evil!" So silly.
  • The parole officer. Just when you thought the drawn out subplot with Dana's ex was over, this subplot comes along. It wouldn't have been so bad had the guy not been so annoyingly persistent and overly thorough: "You need an XYZ form." "Yeah, that's what my bud told me, here it is." How convenient. There is also a crisis that involves nuclear materials, an shortly thereafter an EMP goes off in CTU, and yet, the guy still persists and makes it seem like (in action, not words) his job is more important than the current crisis that threatens tens of thousands of people. I was so glad when Dana killed him.
  • Chloe. She pulled a gun on someone!? OH SNAP! The highlight of that episode for sure.
  • Hassan. The overly poofy Elvis caricature hair styled man is finally gone. I saw his death coming, just not in the manner it was executed (delayed video broadcast). Seriously though, I don't know how much more I could have taken watching him and his foot tall hair.
  • Kayla. Someone please kill her. Sure she's cute, but good grief everytime she talks I want to rip my ears off. /rant
  • Renay. I had a feeling she would die. After finally scoring with Jack and cuddling for the next hour, it was inevitable. Oh, and just when you think these people would finally eat or drink something, they get caught up in a conversation and don't. Jack was about to make some coffee and then he didn't. He went to get a drink and Renay gets shot. Ah well.
  • Chloe (again). She's the interim head of CTU? OH SNAP x2!!

The episode with Renay dying was the last one I saw. Watched the previews for the next episode and of course, Jack gets back involved. After the Hassan, though, you wonder, "Ok, what now? There's still 8 episodes left!" So they've thrown the Russians back into play, only different Russians, and now Logan is back again. Wished they would've mentioned something about being stabbed by Martha. Ah well. I'm thinking Logan has an ulterior motive here, but I haven't read any comments of the last two episodes, and I won't be back until I'm caught up. I may have missed an item or two above or forgot to mention some other silly items, but I'm more interested in this Russian part than I am with the IRK, especially with Logan involved. See you next week suckas! :D

Wow, tonights episode. Where are they going with this? That was flat out murder. In the end how can he justify that?

Logan ordered it anyways. Just wonder if the president knew he was gonna do it, she should of but ya never know with this show

That was WHOA!!!! Just watched it and it's so good and kinda sad at the sametime. I kinda believed her about wanting to turn her life around but she's still that kinda gal that will always be covering her own ass.

I saw it in her eyes too, she knew she was gonna be dead when she gave up the evidence. When she was like, what I can do and Jack said nothing, her eyes were kinda sad but knew what was coming next. I'm glad her story is over with but then again she got off kinda easy. LOL

I agree... He will probably claim self-defense and get off, but we know that he committed murder.

As if.

She got what was coming to her anyway.

Best of all next week it looks like early 24season Bauer is back to do some "interrogations"

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
