So there's no Carla, no Janitor, no Ted, no Kelso, and after a while, no JD? Why didn't they just change the name and call it a spin off? There's nothing wrong with that if the show is actually good. But I think it's lame they're calling it Scrubs when it clearly isn't.

And are there gonna be dramatic voice overs that teaches a lesson every episode?

i suppose it's as fair a way as any to show what we haven't seen before on the show...and introduce the second string cast.

I'm going to give it a season... the writing staff's been shaken up a bit too, so going to give them some time to find their grove. I'm hopeful. Turk and Cox could hold their own. I'm going to miss the Janitor as a character...but they could find a way to fill his place in a different way.

Question: More on Scrubs! Will Carla be a series regular? ?Dinanab>

Ausiello: Forget series regular ? she won?t even be a guest star. Judy Reyes declined an invitation to make occasional appearances on Scrubs 2.0. According to Bill Lawrence, Reyes was only interested in returning if it was on a full-time basis ? something that, creatively, he couldn?t make work. ?It was hard for us to wrap our head around why a nurse would be spending so much time around med students,? explains Lawrence, who insists he harbors no hard feelings towards Reyes. In fact, he plans to reach out to her again in hopes that ?she?ll change her mind.?

ok, i've enjoyed scrubs over it's many years, but seriously, why can't jd just grow up? he's a doctor, father with another on the way, and now a teacher, why do they feel the need to make him into a stupid child?

but i am thankful for carla not making an appearance, she got sickening by the end. not a bad episode at all, but the annoying as all hell rich kid and the child jd are enough to prevent my from watching unless there is NOTHING else on. and there is always hulu.

Is that not the charm of J.D.'s character?

I loved it, personally. Thought this was the best episode of the last two seasons (prior to this season, I mean).
