My main problem with the new show is that there isn't that good summation of life altering events. I mean, almost ever single episode, if not every single episode, of all the previous seasons had some life lesson learned and to me, the attempts at those this season have fallen flat.

This episode was good, it was sad to see Ted go though  It would have been nice to see the entire band one last time.

Good episode. Best one yet this season.

What happened to the janitor? And why are they in med school now...

Janitor moved on because JD doesn't work at Sacred Heart now and he has no one to tease and the Med School because JD is now a teacher and its a teaching hospital

For some reason I really liked this episode a lot. Sad to see the original members are starting to drop off now :(

I felt it was funny and I think I liked Cole a bit more as a character after this episode.

Oddly enough, me too... :/

Then you clearly weren't watching hard enough this time. Dr. Cox laid out the lesson and JD summed it up, as usual. They were growing older but they were trying to hide it. Cox told them to realize it and embrace it.

They said in the very first episode that they rebuilt the hospital.

Read what I said, "the attempts at those this season have fallen flat."

That and he got his own series. He is on The Middle opposite Patricia Heaton. I am not sure I like the show yet, but the Janitor is a very good in it.

Just watched it and I'd say it's the best episode yet (Y) It was great seeing Gooch/Ted  :(

Me three about oddly liking Cole's character now as well

Radish?

ABC To Finish Scrubs And Better Off Ted In January

It doesn't look good for ABC's comedy block of Scrubs and Better Off Ted. Neither series has exactly been setting the ratings world on fire, with Ted performing particularly poorly, while the retooled Scrubs has been hit-or-miss with many fans. Now, it looks like ABC will be burning off the remaining episodes in two-hour blocks on Tuesdays, beginning January 5.

ABC is also following up their presentation of the Rose Bowl on Friday, January 1st, with two episodes of Ted and one of Scrubs. This is generally not the way a network treats a show that they're interested in nurturing, but it is a continuation of the much-appreciated trend we're seeing this season of networks at least airing all of the episodes of commissioned series.

At that scheduled rate, ABC will be out of episodes by the end of January, just in time for the final season of Lost to return to Tuesdays at 9 PM ET on February 2nd. Originally, the comedy pair were set to be the lead-in to Lost, but it looks unlikely that ABC will order additional episodes of either. For now, the plan is to air the previous week's episode of Lost Tuesdays at 8 PM ET, leading into each new episode.

Here's how it breaks down:

Tuesday, December 22 & 29

9 PM - Scrubs

9:30 PM - Better Off Ted

Friday, January 1

8:30 PM - Better Off Ted

9 PM - Scrubs

9:30 PM - Better Off Ted

Tuesdays, January 5 (until they run out of episodes)

8 PM - Scrubs

8:30 PM - Better Off Ted

9 PM - Scrubs

9:30 PM - Better Off Ted

Better of Ted was horribly unfunny... but I thought Scrubs was doing decently. I mean, it's hard to seg from the old set of characters into the new set without doing it as they are now.

Yeah I watched one episode of BoT and thought it was awful

seriously? O.o

Wow, I really actually like the new scrubs... Partly because i was a late adapter to scrubs in general but the characters are really growing on me, the janitor and J.D will never be replaced but its still good non the less, If it gets replaced by something crap they need to be shot.

Apparently the latest episode of Scrubs scored the lowest since it started this new season. If they cancelled this show (and by the looks of things, it will happen) then they need to replace it with one simple show.

'Chocolate and Vanilla Bear' aka Turk and JD show.

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
    • you can also do this with this tool: PowerSettingsExplorer made by mbk1969 at 3dguru forum.. I found it by accident researching on modern standby and annoying quirks of it in 2022
