i only want it because i cant stand the look and feel n e more of Windows Messenger 5 (always crashes) and i just dont like MSN Messenger 5

MSN Messenger 4, 5 = Yuck

Windows Messenger 4, 5 = Yuck (5=crashes alot)

5 is very stable and has never crashed for me, what os u got?

I have to agree. WM5 has never given me any problems at all.

It has'nt crashed one since i have it. I'm pretty happy about everything on XP, it runs like a charm.

I'm having so much troble i have windows messenger 4.7, but the windows update site didn't tell me there was a version 5, is it a beta.

Could someone please list windows and msn messenger current version and any betas that are around as well as where i can find them.

i was also wondering about msn explorer although i don't want to pay i find it useful are they going to release a new free version i currently have version 7.01?

Now all we can do is wait for someone to find a way to get rid of that damn advertisement banner.

And untill then, it's time to uninstall it, because all the extra's are no good if noone uses it.

To log my conversations i use plus!, and thats the only benefit I can see in version 6.

I don't need custom user pictures, I don't want fake emoticons.

I'll stick with it for one more day, then it's out.

I hate that banner.

I think that link is dead does anyone have another i've tried kazaa and others but it's way to slow.

yep, that link is dead didn?t find windows messenger on Kazaa, tho

but now that the patch to remove the advertisements on MSN messenger 6 is out i'll switch to it.
