s1zeRo: GTK-Wimp is your friend. Gaim for Win32 with the Wimp theme picks up all the colors and such from your windows theme.

Install the wimp theme (fairly easy) and then reinstall gaim and you should be able to select the wimp theme.

I believe the new GTK+ for Windows comes with the wimp theme.

Wanna see how my gaim looks? Then click here :D

.: Just wanted to say great work guys!

.: It's extremely sweet to see someone

.: build something almost exactly like I would.

.: kudos to all involved. I've been following

.: k10k since it's inception along with praystation

.: and others and it's good to see good gui design.

.: cheers :.

Ive found a bug (well atleast on my machine), and it has to do with the listviews. If I apply the theme without shellstyle, the listviews display in verdana, size 7. However if I run it with shellstyles, the list appears to be like tahoma, size 6 (perhaps), but it certainly isnt verdana. Anyone else had this prob?

icantelu: thank you, i will try this out

ok, the gaim installer came with it just didnt really look well haha

Plus if you look at the top right of gaim you can see the colors

are a lil-screwy  even if you change themes(VS) around too

You're right it is kind of screwy (the menu bar does look kind of funky.)

However, it isnt so obvious in white colored VS. I am guessing this is due to GTK+ rather then Gaim.

But still for the time being I can put up with it.

Yeah, I had this problem as well.

But it only takes 2 mins in Reshacker to sort it :D

Wow! Too bad I don't use Classix 10k much anymore.

Erm, there is no updated version of Classix 10k. If you mean Cursive, that's Bant's mod. I can be found in this forum.

I'm not sure if this has been changed in the Trillian Pro skin yet, but I replaced the default icon for metacontacts (quite surprised it was still in there) with this:

classix-metacontact.gif

Thought you might be interested.. Was a quick job but I totally disliked the default metacontacts icon in a classix skin :)

    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
