What was the last movie you watched?

Recommended Posts

Literally had an insanely lazy holiday weekend with my wife, I had 4 days off she had 3, and we watched movies pretty much the entire time. Literally.

Here is what we watched...

Cedar Rapids

Way better then expected.

Cool true story, just not the best pacing and acting.

The Machinist

Already had seen it, just love it, so we watched it again.

The Hangover 2 (went to theater)

Everyone I was with enjoyed it more then I did, it was funny, I did laugh, but it really was the same exact damn movie.

The Outsiders

Just one of my all time favorite movies from when I am a kid. Even though watching it now I see how bad some of the acting truly is, it still has a truly fond place in my heart. Just one of my favorites of all times.

Planet Of The Apes (1968)

Without a doubt one of my all time favorites, I purchased the 40th edition Blu Ray on release day, but never watched it. So this was me finally watching the Blu Ray, even watched most of the behind the scenes, etc.

Taking Chance

6 - 5

Yep, I rated it a 6 out of 5, it was that good. True story about a marine escorting a fellow marine killed in action back home. Just a great movie, and purposely watched it on Memorial day.

It may have been easier to list what we did not watch.

Honestly though, really, really recommend Taking Chance. Just a damn touching movie. Literally had several occasions were the tears could not help but flow. Great movie.

Fast Five - that gets a 9/10 from me. I agree, it needs more racing damnit but yeah it was pretty good. Didn't have enough hot girls also!

Hall Pass - pretty cool and had a nice lil story with it too. Gets a 7/10 from me

Hangover 2 - definitely funniest movie I saw so far this year! I didn't see part one (got it now for tonight!! :woot:) Gets a 8.5/10 from me!

    • I already have "Scareware blocker. Allow Microsoft to use AI to detect potential tech scams." which I've disabled in my private (home) version some time ago. It's in "Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Security".
    • just more excuse to get cameras on you to spy on you. Just like the phones.
    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
