Thought it was really well made, loved that the 3D was done well and not just tacky. Almost seemed a lot like Uncharted 3 with the locations (fights on a boat, desert, market etc)

Was lucky enough to catch an advance screening of this, and all I've got to say is WOW. What an amazing movie. One of the best I've seen in a long time. It's a horror/comedy film, but I'd say the ratio of horror to comedy is about 20:80. It's got a lot of comic relief in it; so much so in fact, that you have may trouble taking the serious horror parts seriously. :p The story is predictable at times, but you get the feeling that it's meant to be deliberate. It's written by Joss Whedon too, which is the main reason I decided to check it out; if anyone here's a fan of his work (in my case, it's Firefly/Serenity), then I'd definitely recommend checking it out. 9/10.

I've just finished watching A Nightmare on Elm Street, the 2010 remake.

I thought it was okay. Some of the effects were great, some of them were pretty bad. I've always been a fan of slasher movies though, however bad they are. I just wish the final fight with Freddy lasted longer near the end. :[

Overall I'd give it a 6/10.

The Sitter blu-ray from blockbuster. I dunno, 6.5/10 I guess. it had its moments, but mostly meh. I guess if you have goofy friends, it'd be good to watch with them.
