Add this to stylish:

#compact-bk-menu2 dropmarker,
#compact-go-menu2 dropmarker,
#compact-menu-button dropmarker {
display: none !important;
}

Also make sure you are using the glass option in StrataBuddy, and disable StrataGlass.

Both solutions worked a charm. Thank you. :]

Ah HAH, so it's StrataBuddy causing the problem! You don't get a message, it just borks the browser, you can scroll by dragging the slider, you can click to open new tabs, but using close/minimise/maximise, and selecting text boxes is disabled.

A quick fix would be much appreciated.

Same problem here.

I just realized I worded my question incorrectly. What I want to do is change the dark gray that can be seen on dialog boxes, to the default lighter gray.

addonsi.png --> addons2.png

And I'd like to make the History and Bookmarks have a white background rather than gray.

historym.png

That does look good. I'm betting it will require yet another add-on though!

It gets brought up in the deviantart pages of both the addon and the theme constantly. It can't currently be done due to limitations of Firefox. Until either the devs start actual work on the 4.0 theme (move out of the mockup/revamp stage), or some magical mystery rogue extension artist figures out a way to circumvent all the current limitations, the titlebar meld can't be done.

Well the theme is getting closer and closer to what the mockups look like, as well as having a huge element of customisation to personal preferences which is awesome if you ask me.

I hope that this level of customisation seen in the theme is preserved when Mozilla outputs 3.7/4.0 and allows theme tweaking options.

Since v0.5.1 of the mockup theme the Personal Menu is not longer supported.

Edit:

Since v0.1.6.2 of StrataBuddy I get following error on a javascript popup: Always if I open a javascript popup I can't wirte anything in the firefox. Scrolling is also deactivated and closing is possible just with the task-manager.

Has anyone help?

Why not?

Also want to point this out as it gets annoying but fixable by clicking on the tab next to "Home" tab:

If you noticed the tab is messed up right next to home everytime. The image I have shown there has an app tab next to it, doesn't seem to do it with normal tabs anymore since the update, but still does it with app tabs.

Also wanted to point out there seems to be a thin white line under the tab section that is displayed on top of all the website content. When scrolling down web pages you will see that white line break up. Hopefully that can be removed in the future. =)

I had the same problem and figured it had to do with some tab margins. I already sent SpewBoy the updated CSS and he'll implement it into his next update.

And if you're talking about the thin light colored line at the left side when on darker sites, I think that's because SpewBoy moved the window content in a bit to lign up with the top and status bars. So I'm not sure if that's fixable.

The thin line is on both sides. You can see it go across all the website content. It just breaks up for whatever reason. You don't have this problem on non aero glass (at least using the default setting). Only seems to happen when you switch to Aero Glass.

I seem to be having an issue with enabling transparency, the option is grayed out completely.

I figured it out. You have to select 3.7 theme, restart, select 4.0 and Aero Glass together... weird.

Ever since Strata updated itself through firefox update about a week ago... the progress bar in the address bar doesn't work anymore. It's a solid color like safari rather than the cool thin green line like before.

Is this a known issue or is it my problem?

Just go back into Fission and reapply the progress bar maybe?

    • Browser vendors including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi have jointly written an open letter to Microsoft saying enough is enough regarding Edge being pushed on Windows users without consent. Microsoft makes it difficult to change the default browser, promotes Edge throughout Windows 11, and has made the uninstall process unnecessarily complicated compared to other apps. Does anyone have more details on what exactly the open letter demands and whether any regulatory action is being considered? Also curious whether this could lead to antitrust investigations similar to what happened with Internet Explorer back in the day. Would love to hear from anyone following this closely.
    • Amen, they are a shady company... they modify my site to remove inline ads and then cry about subscribing to their services, a few things they "bravely" did in recent years: In 2020, Brave was caught automatically appending its own affiliate referral codes to URLs when users typed the web addresses of crypto exchanges (like Binance and Coinbase) into the address bar. Following significant backlash, the CEO apologized and the feature was disabled. In 2023, the company faced criticism after users noticed a paid VPN service was installed on their computers without their explicit consent. TOR Privacy Leak: In 2021, Brave's private Tor tabs were found to be leaking DNS queries to internet service providers, a flaw that was subsequently patched. Passive Cryptocurrency Donations: In early versions of the browser, Brave automatically collected user contributions and held them in a pool to be distributed to creators. If a creator had not signed up to claim their funds within a certain time frame, the process sparked criticism about where the money went.
    • I think they still believe it but are realizing that those statements created massive backlash and impacted adoption. I personally think AI, if used regularly will give you back about 30% of your time if you are an “information” worker.
