I wanna play DOS games in a small window

I wanna play Monkey Island 1 in a small window, not full screen... how do i do it?

Did you try to use a /w switch in the shortcut?Like this: ...\monkeyisland.exe /w (use real .exe name ;) )

i did it, but the windows just closed itself at once i started the game

I've tried the /w switch in many of my old dos games, and it's a little irritating that it doesn't work. The game still launches in a full screen session.

anyway, i think its impossible. the way windows runs DOS windows and DOS full-screens is different, and done by another driver at all AFAIK. DOS windows only support text i think.

get an app called dosbox, it emulates (surprisingly enough) a dos box... you can then run the game in a virtual machine, windowed...

ScummVM runs abunch of old lucasarts games w/ a bunch of options like opengl (smoothing) and runing it in a window...
