Felicia Day's 'The Guild' online webisodes

Recommended Posts

I heard about 'The Guild' from Neowin in an indirect sort of way and we don't seem to have a proper thread. Season 1 was funny but Seasong 2 was hilarious to the extreme and now I can't wait for Season 3.

Everyone should be watching this!!!

This is the official website - http://www.watchtheguild.com/ but I watched the videos from either Youtube or MSN Video (the latter seemed to have the newest webisodes).

Season 3 episode 1 premiered last week for xbox live gold members...should be up for everyone else in the next day or two. Has to be one of the best webshows out there I think. Such a simple concept and beginning has certainly grown legs.

Which she may or may not have shaved.

So when is episode 2 out?

I already watched the first one, I downloaded it off xbox but if I go to the same page on marketplace now episode 1 doesn't even show up let alone 2.....

I usually end up watching them on my ipod when i'm bored on the train. Season 1 was nice because i could download it through itunes and copy them over. Had to download a torrent for season 2 and will do for 3 once the entire season is finished.

Was watching some of the gag-reel, the guy who plays Zaboo is hilarious.

I dont actually get what prompted the guy to ask the question but certainly a way to liven up a discussion panel :p

That was actually supposed to be a leg shaving reference that goes with some of the dialog in the series.

Season 3, Episode 1 is online at MSN Video:

Direct links to The Guild Season 3 episodes 1 and 2 :)

Season 3 - Episode 1: Expansion Time

The Guild waits in line for their game's expansion to come out, and deals with inter-personal tension in…dysfunctional ways.

Season 3 - Episode 2: Anarchy!

A group of rival gamers cut in front of The Guild at the game store. And they aren’t nice about it.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
