Being Erica (Season 2)

Recommended Posts

I guess this would fall under the category as one of my secret TV show shames. :p Does anyone else watch?

The season 2 premiere was pretty sweet. Now that they've brought in more of a supernatural element I was kinda getting a Dead Like Me vibe from it.

Season 1 is quite good. Some elements of season 1 seem kind of girly centric. Especially the way they market the show (at least around here). Don't let that fool you though this show can be entertaining for anyone.

In season 1 they don't get into much about Dr. Tom. It seemed like they would just leave at 'accept it and watch the show'... but in season 2 it seems like they will reveal more about him and these 'therapist' people from the coffee shop.

They've pulled the ol' Lost trick and managed to reveal some of the mystery but still leave it shrouded in even more mystery and leave you wanting more!

I like the direction they have taken with the season 2 premiere.

Finally caught up with another great episode tonight.

It seems like the ratings have dropped a bit in season 2. According to Wikipedia it got about 5-600k viewers in Canada. Season 2 episodes are doing about 4-500k although there is no citation on those numbers.

Jenny is a slut

Sold! When's it on again?

The CBC has had some great programming over the years. There's that show with all those people on logging boats, that was a great one. Oh yeah The Beachcombers. And then there was the other one on the water. Oh yeah Danger Bay.

And then there is this show. With the one redeeming quality Rappy has brought to my attention. I will watch it immediately.

There was some pretty hot scenes but it still doesn't top the lesbian episode.

I'm getting the feeling that Erica might become a therapist or something. Kind of Dead Like Me style where that guys last reap becomes a reaper. Or maybe Kai is like Erica's first patient or something.

    • Honestly... 4 wasn't fun, 5 had unlikeable, annoying, or dull characters... Yeah, to me the magic died with San Andreas.
