Being Erica (Season 2)

So she's back where she started. No job and no boyfriend but except she's not feeling lost and she's a lot more confident in herself now. I bet the door leads to her new office as a therapist. :shifty:

Half a million viewers per episode isn't a whole lot but it's a better show than most of the crap on CBC. I'm cautiously optimistic that they will renew it. They ended a lot of stuff so it seems like the season 2 finale was written as if it could serve as the series finale...

Being Erica is only about to start its second season in the U.S. on Jan. 20, but already fans are wondering about season three.

The Canadian series, which gets a second life here in the states on cable network SoapNet, has already wrapped up its second season on Canada?s CBC. So will Erica?s journey continue for another season?

?There is no official word as of yet? from the CBC, creator Jana Sinyor said during an interview with Staying In.

But don?t fret just yet, fans. Signs for a renewal ?are looking very positive.?

?We?re very optimistic, but we don?t know for sure what?s going to be happening,? Sinyor added. ?We have a good feeling.?

The show?s run on SoapNet has attracted many ardent supporters, from TV critics/reporters to bloggers to TV fanatics. SoapNet will even host a panel for the show on Tuesday at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.

Sinyor has taken note of the response.

?Both myself and Aaron Martin ? we run the show together ? we keep up with all of the reaction. We go on the SoapNet website. We read the U.S. blogs,? Sinyor said. ?It?s very important. It?s fascinating for us. It?s like it has this whole second wind kind of thing. It?s finished airing in Canada and now it?s just about to start up again in the states. We?re very excited.?

Although the series has yet to receive an official pickup, that hasn?t stopped Sinyor and her staff from getting the ball rolling on another season.

?We started to plow ahead on season three with early stages of development,? she said. ?Figuring what we?re doing. Writing scripts and stuff like that.?

Being Erica?s second season premieres Jan. 20 at 10 p.m. on SoapNet. The network will air a marathon of the first season on Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Yep it's renewed. :D

Holy Jean Chretien it actually happened!

Being Erica has been renewed for a third season! CBC hasn't announced it yet, but trust me. It is true. So very true. I got a very reliable email today confirming all the details!

No word on the storylines for season 3 yet, but shooting starts on May 17th! So I'm working hard on getting some more details!

I'm so excited to have Erin Karpluk but on our TV screens. I can now end my 5 hour hunger strike!

Congrats Canadian TV, this is definitely a huge win!

and some casting news!

Erica's short term boyfriend Ryan (played by Dillion Casey) who was in five episodes of season 1 will be back for season 3. We're not sure if he will be a series regular or not. Hopefully we will have a full cast soon but we're hearing Kai and Ethan won't be back.. at least not in a regular capacity.

(SpoilerTV)

Being Erica - via shooting schedule expect a 13 -> 15 episode season 3

Being Erica season 3 will film May 17 -> October 15 this is at about 2 to 3 weeks longer than the season 1 shoot (though that had already shot the pilot earlier and was shooting episodes 2 -> 13) and even longer than the season 2 Shoot (also 12 episodes).

    • Microsoft confirms Recycle Bin bug across all versions of Windows by Usama Jawad A couple of days ago, we reported that the latest Patch Tuesday update has seemingly resulted in a lot of issues for many users, including OneDrive and Dropbox access problems, BitLocker recovery lockouts, and BSODs. Although Microsoft is yet to acknowledge these bugs, it has confirmed another, relatively smaller issue across all supported versions of Windows. In an update on its Windows Release Health Dashboard, Microsoft has confirmed that after installing June's Patch Tuesday update (KB5094126), you'll experience unexpected behavior when leveraging Recycle Bin. Basically, when you attempt to delete an item from the Recycle Bin, the confirm dialog will show you the internal file name of that content rather than the actual name. For example, the file may be named abc.png, but the confirm dialog will ask if you're sure that you want to permanently delete $Rxxxxx.png from the Recycle Bin. This is pretty much it for the scope of the bug itself; it just displays the wrong name in the confirm dialog. The correct name will be shown in the list view of the Recycle Bin and if you restore the file, it will return with the correct name as well. This issue affects pretty much all supported versions of Windows client and server, including: Client: Windows 11, version 26H1; Windows 11, version 25H2; Windows 11, version 24H2; Windows 11, version 23H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 Server: Windows Server 2025; Windows Server 2022; Windows Server 2019; Windows Server 2016; Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2012 As things currently stand, Microsoft is working on a concrete solution that will be released in a "future" Windows update. It remains to be seen if the firm will wait till the next Patch Tuesday or roll out an out-of-band (OOB) fix. The good news is that commercial customers can deploy a workaround right now, but they will have to reach out to Microsoft Support for Business for additional details.
    • They said by this time everyone will have flying cars. WELL...
    • A study by physicist Henry Tye of Cornell University suggests that the universe may not expand forever. Instead, it could eventually stop expanding, begin contracting and end in a "Big Crunch" roughly 20 billion years from now. Maybe not as we now know that time can flow backwards.
    • Of course. Simply reverse the polarity.
    • It is clear from this aricle that "Time Is On My Side" no matter which direction it is flowing., https://noai.duckduckgo.com/?i...m%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DsEj8lUx0gwY
