redrope
SUVs are just slightly modified minivans. Dont deny it because its a proven fact. Everyone only likes them now because they are a trend. Anyways, get an Audi A4. Im getting one this summer and I couldnt be happier. Diata
congrats on the a4...but SUVs are much different than minivans. theres just something great about having such a big presence on the road. i may sound like an idiot, but i like SUVs Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/82651-advice-on-buying-new-car/page/2/#findComment-911599 Share on other sites
redrope
Oh, I dont hate them at all, but they are minivans slightly cosmetically modified. Its a fact. I dont have a problem with them at all tho. lj300
thats a good point to compare them to minivans, if not check out the montero sports ads :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/82651-advice-on-buying-new-car/page/2/#findComment-913338 Share on other sites

Antipop
the A4 is an exceptional car, second only to my A6 :D Those Audis, if serviced right, will last you FOREVER, and they are very high performance. <rant>And semi-off topic, I'm getting a '76 MG B roadster to restore! I'm excited. </rant> Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/82651-advice-on-buying-new-car/page/2/#findComment-914493 Share on other sites
threetonesun
SUVs are just slightly modified minivans. Dont deny it because its a proven fact. Everyone only likes them now because they are a trend. Well, I have a Jeep ... if anything it's a slightly modified station wagon. But in reality, it's a Jeep. Anyway, things to look for are miles per gallon, engine type (an inline 6 is better than a V-6, a V-8 is bigger but will usually mean worse MPG). Also, check the tires, see if they're run flats or sport tires, or if they're just stock junk. Outside of those three things, everything else should be fairly obvious. Well, I dont know what you mean by stuck junks, but I baught 3 VW's and they all had Michelin and now Pirelli tires. Those aint junks. Very great tires!
