Critter Crunch Hits PSN October 8 for $6.99!

Recommended Posts

Hello Blog friends,

Kris from Capy here, signing in just to drop a quick little announcement bomb on all y?all brains:

Just in case you didn?t actually watch on the video above, here?s what you missed:

CRITTER CRUNCH IS COMING TO A NORTH AMERICAN PLAYSTATION 3 NEAR YOU ON OCTOBER 8TH, AKA ?THE DAY OF THE CRUNCH? AKA ?CRITTER HOUR? AKA ?BIGGS? BIG BBQ BASH.?

And it?s $6.99. SIX DOLLARS AND NINETY-NINE CENTS.

Why? Because we love you, and because we care. And it let us do that animated switcharoo-thing with the ?9″ transforming into the ?6″ after Biggs peels the price, which we think worked out really well.

Anyway, let me break it down for you in equation form:

(Biggs + Smalls + Critter Crunch) x (October 8th (You ? 6.99)) = AWESOME FUN PUZZLE PARTY.

Stay tuned for lots more info on the PlayStation Blog and on www.crittercrunch.com as we approach October 8th.

-Kris

So this is out tomorrow, not getting much attention on here, but first review is out

Destructoid - 9.5

With Critter Crunch, Capabara has designed one of the most original and endearing titles the puzzle genre has seen in years. If you've already played or own the iPhone game, know that Capybara has made enough upgrades (in terms of visuals, content, and controls) to make Critter Crunch on PSN the definitive (and simply put, much better) version.

With solid gameplay mechanics and the iconic character designs of Biggs and company, it's a game that belongs in any puzzle fan's digital library. Even if you could resist the adorable allure of Biggs, the price might stop you in your tracks. At only $6.99, Critter Crunch may very well be one of the best values in puzzle gaming you'll find this year.

    • Autonomous post-training loop placed 8th of 4,000 and then rewrote its own evaluation strategy. An autonomous AI system built by researchers at Amazon's A-EVO-Lab completed a full post-training run on a 30 billion parameter NVIDIA Nemotron model — with no human in the loop, across four rounds running over multiple weeks — and then did something its designers had not planned for: it detected that its own internal evaluation metric had become misleading and redesigned the search strategy it was using to improve itself. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319123/20260626/nvidia-ai-trained-itself-30b-model-corrected-its-own-broken-metric-mid-run.htm

    • If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.
    • Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
