My P4 overclock and a question

Recommended Posts

Hey people,

i have been Overclocking my Pentium 4 and to my understanding it is running INCREADIBLY stable...

Right now the P4 is @ 4.51Ghz and i have had prime 95 on for 14 and a half hours and no errors or warnings...

temps are minimum 36C idle and maximum 61C of 14.5hours of Prime 95.

i was wondering if people usually go for the highest stable overclock they can get, or just to the points that it runs whatever they were lagging on before?

*Please note that i am a beginner in Overclocking...

:woot: How have you overclocked to 4.51Ghz?! Are you using Water Cooling? Those temperatures on an air cooled P4 seem impossible, but I may be wrong!
