Star Trek Micro Machines

Hey I've got the top middle box! Used to love them but never collected anymore. I have the box still but they were on display in front of a windows so all the stands went yellow (and dare I say I lost a couple).

If anyone wants them make me an offer! :p

Sorry to dig this up after such a long time but I'm currently collecting these and almost have them all but this darker voyager you speak of is the very first I've heard of if having a different variant.

I've been able to get every other variant ship other than the lighter Borg cube but it's an easy one to get from what I can tell.

The list of ships I've been going by is from the following link. It just doesn't include the bronze or pewter sets. http://www.teddybearcave.com/STMMpictures.htm

Can you if your still around provide a picture of these 2 voyagers side by side to help with my search and other collectors as well?

Thank you so much!

Heh. It's funny this thread should come up. I found my old MicroMachine USS Enterprise-B this past weekend after I traveled home. I had so many of these, unfortunately, they did not survive the test of time... AKA me and my brother. :(

I still keep watching for an enterprise E or a box 3 for a reasonable amount on ebay. but haven't been able to get one the last 3 years.

I still need the E, the 3 engine D, the Klingon battleship, and a few others to complete what I want for my set.

Other than voyager itself, I don't care much for the Voyager sect ships.

I remember that episode, that version of the enterprise had a cloaking device didn't it? And was capable of warp 14 if I remember correctly

(Riker was captain)

Yup - It was in the final episode of season 7 'All Good Things'.

So cool finding this site. And not to make anyone jealous but several years ago, I just broke down and bought the Trek 1,2 and gulp 3 collectors sets!

But and I know you guys will know this, is that the whole collection?

If I"gotta catch them all"  "because my OCD is killing me", which ones am I still missing?

I know there are bronze and silver sets but are those the same as in the collectors set with just different paint?

Thank guys, appreciate you helping me out here!!

Mark

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
