block flash on IE

Hi

how can i block flash like "Flashblock" for firefox , just on ie?

i mean...i want to see an icon where the flash object is, & if i click on it, it will enable that flash object.

i installed it.

well, it's nice. but not so practical. it's like going to "tools" , "manage addons" & disable flash.

it's just a bit shorter :)

but it's not like surfing with Flashblock on firefox. there you don't have flash at all & you could selectively activate flash objects (not all flash in all the site).

so... it didn't helped. but thanks.

any other solutions? :)

i want not to have flash at all (yes,like these apps you posted here, or like disabling flash normaly, BUT to be able to activate flash objects with a click).

i installed IE7pro but didn't saw any improvment. it may block all flash. but i want to activate some flash elements like youtube films... with flashblock on firefox i can click & activate it. here i can't. i need to "play" with menus no?

You can block Flash in IE by disabling Flash add-on. To do this:

1. Click Tools.

2. Click Manage Add-ons.

3. Click on Shockwave Flash object and then on Disable button and finally on Close button.

Note that you will be prompted about Flash everytime you visit a site that use it. You can always allow certain sites to use Flash.

i know how to Manage Add-ons ;)

i want to disable all flash & enable certain flash objects while i surf sites by clicking them, like the "flashblock" plugin for firefox...

I honestly don't think you're going to find what you want for IE. It would surprise me if you did.

You could always just not install the Flash control. :)
