I installed Roxio Creator Pro 2010 on my Windows 7 PC and tried to convert a DVD to I-Pod Touch format with the Video Copy & Convert application. I then did the same thing with the Mac version of the same program. My God what a piece of junk the Windows version of this software is...LOL
After compressing for close to 50 minutes, it finally reached 100% and it got stuck there!!!! - It never finished. I had to force the application to close up.
On the other hand, I installed Toast Titanium Pro 10 on my iMac - which is made by Roxio also - And it did one hell of a job. It converted the video to I-Pod Touch format in less than 35 mins and it didn't freeze like its counterpart.
It seems that the Mac version is well written and well made compared to the Windows version. Roxio should apply the same level of quality to the Windows version that they apply to the Mac counterpart. It is such a shame that a lot of Windows software is so poorly written because of either negligence or pure laziness. It's no wonder Windows gets flamed a lot for things that are not even its fault, but the third party application doing the work.
Reviews are opinion genius.
idc about metric for success, I wasn't claiming it was a success.
It's pretty clear what this is about for you when you mix in anti-sjw/gamergate culture war rot and completely ignore, or are blind to, the core point I was making.
