Hi Wolf. Welcome to Neowin. Don't get ticked off on this but I need to let you know. Capitalize your "I" and every first letter in the beginning of a sentence. As for the subject "I", no matter where it is located in the sentence, "I" is always capitalized. Other than that, you're a very good writer.

I dont capitalise my I's always either. Live with it

I know how to properly capitalize. English class in high school for the most part was a breeze. My teachers liked my work and i never failed to properly capitalize anything.

i don't mind yer comment on this - i fully expected somebody to bring this up

(yes, i spell it "yer")

the lack of capitals is intentional however. it makes it easier to type during long posts, and just in general. you see, it gets painful after a short while and using my left pinky to reach for the shift bar every new sentence just aggravates that. i can go for much longer without proper caps than i can with. i am making every attempt to at least keep it consistent. no capitals at the beginning of a sentence, capitals for all proper nouns with the exception of "i" which gets used way too often, proper punctuation on words like "don't" and "isn't" as well as commas where needed, and periods at the end of every sentence. though sometimes i forget them at the end of paragraphs.

i hope this doesn't make me look like too much of a moron or newb, or whatever people think of somebody who doesn't use capitals. it is the way i do things and i will not change any time soon.

Dont worry mate. Some people on the forum are really pedantic about spelling on here.

easier than i thought. used my nickname

(Y)

Lmao. I've been on this board.....many years and this is honestly the most detailed and all encompassing introduction thread I have EVER READ.

Seriously. Welcome to the community. Hope you enjoy it here.

cool thanks

tell me .. did i spell fuhgeddaboudit right?

now you are seriously creeping me out

Welcome to Neowin. We have some really good members and a first rate mod team here when there are problems the mods take care of them quickly and I think we have very few for a forum of this size. I have been on a lot of forums over the years and Neowin is the only one I have stuck with all this time.

This is my last inspirational quote about considering college, Wuffy.

"If you go to college, learn to be a rocket scientist, and then decide you want to be a janitor instead, you can easily be a janitor.

If you skip the college, you can still be a janitor, but you can't easily decide to be a rocket scientist."

Hey dude that was a good intro. Im only into IT a bit and I find neowin really helpful and the general disscusion board is great for when your bored and want to find other peoples views on things. I would bet my house on posting a question on here and within 10-15 mins someone will have tried to point you in the right direction. I can assure you know I will be the user asking the question not answering lol. Goodluck with the driving im not sure what its like from where you live but over here if your join the TA http://www.armyjobs.mod.uk/benefits/pay/Pa...my%28TA%29.aspx They pay for you to do all the driving licences possible. I couldnt do it but thats because im a woose lol. Good luck though

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
    • After I installed those, my older but capable Win 11 laptop (16GB RAM) reported it as 26H2 26300.8697. Then I installed it on my big laptop (128GB RAM! Hehe sorry), it reported it as 25H2 26220.8690. Ugh. Do I have to switch Insiders channels from Release to Beta?
