DIY Wheel/Cockpit mod

I wasn't happy about the stability of the clamp on the MS wheel, so I removed the base and bolted it to a bit of wood.

This bit of wood alone, with only a non slip mat under it is so much better the the original clamp, no slipping at all. But if you pull down on the wheel the board tilts up a bit. You shouldn't really be pulling down on the wheel that much, but I bolted it to the unit anyway.

Then I wasn't happy with the screen being so far away and so high up, something had to be done lol

I'm gonna get a sheet of wood to put on top of the table, to make it a bit wider, I'll put corner bits on the under side so it cant slip about, might line it with carpet too, so it won't mark the table. Think I'll paint some kind of floral stencil on it and hang it on the wall (gotta keep her happy) then get a sheet of non slip rubber to put over it while I'm using it.

Yeah it's an armchair. lulz :p, the back folds forward to turn it into a foot stool, and the seat lifts up for storage. Pretty ****ing sweet really.
