I just rebooted my computer to find my sidebar looking like this, I closed Windows Sidebar and reopened it and it looked the same, I tried removing individual gadgets and then re-adding them but it did no good. What's going on?

Perhaps try downloading Net Framework 3.0? I think that should fix the problem.

I already have it :-(

I saw that one one time in a thread about a year ago and the guy tried the following- (never did go back to see if it fixed his issue or not)

a repair through the control panel add feature of Framework 3 (I think he had to show MS programs)

a reinstall of the latest direct-x (if it is current it won't change a thing)

reinstall video-drivers-

I don't know if the guy got it fixed but the picture looked almost identical-

I was planning to reinstall windows soon anyway, I won't bother trying to fix it, I'll just start afresh, thanks anyway though.
