alright..

they arent aligned..

i just wana show it first if this is what u were talking about

I'd say stronger, so that it fills up most of the button (like in the Superbar) but so that it doesn't get cut off at any of the edges.

what were u talking about?? didnt u say the unselected pinned items??

the small orb under them?

or where u talking about the whole glow thing?

I'm not exactly sure what he meant. :p

I'd say what you did above, just a bit stronger, without it getting cut off.

Kind of like this, but without the rest of the "fill."

to be very honest i still dont get u :p

but ill do something

I'm very bad at concept images but this is what I mean... sorta.

Edit: Here's something closer to what I mean, but the minimise one is a bit too large. :p

tried vibrant.. but the glow looks unrealistic..

i mean it looks like a ball of light..

not glow :p

anyway.. this is gonna be the final :) tried it and tested it and suits every kind of background for me :)

will continue tommorrow now.. need a break... workin on this for 5 days non stop when im on comp.. :p

Looks great, pretty much what I meant

Now if you replace the too damn visible app is running overlays with the hover icons (like the ones you did on min/max/close) or at least the less visible ones from before the RC release, I might actually consider switching from the default Aero theme.

well im done with it..

and i wont be changing it anymore.. because i am very satisfied with the outcome :) leme show u.

 There isn't an emote in the world to show how much I love that gradient on the superbar. It's something I've been looking for forever. :D

Just to make sure, you'll be making this theme for x64 and x86 yeah?

well i dont know if this will work on x64.. and i even dont know if it will work with all resolutions because my monitor support just 1024x768..

i just hope there arent any bugs.

would be cool if you made a version of this with square corners. :] but so far it looks awesome, I love the glow effect for the min, max, close buttons. Can't wait to see the rest.

well i wont be making a square version because i wish to totally theme every little element and it will take to long and then ill be busy because of my exams. Maybe next year :)

Looking good, Zain :)

Thank u :)

Well dude.. to be very true .. that is the only reason i am making my own theme. Coz i hate them. They are so so bright and plasticy jelly kinda i hate em :p

yes u are right :)

but its made from the ground up..

aero was toooooo pixelated!!

When it's done, I'll check if it works on x64. If it's broken, I'd be more than happy to send you a copy of the x64 Aero theme so you can just replace the right resources. :D

Also, I'm interested to see what you're going to do with the Progress Bar. Would love it to be blue instead of green, and maybe use the same effect as the min/close buttons. :D

well that is in the end of my list..

i wont be touching the progress bar and all unless im until i can recreate good superbar tabs..

and well..

i didnt know its totally different on x64... lolx that would be done InshAllah aswell if time permits.

Thats ok, take as long as you like. If you rush it you won't make it as best you can. ;)

And if you don't get a chance to make it for x64, I'd be more than happy to manually port it, and share it if you let me. :p

    • What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.
    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
