Loved it until I saw the Details Pane and the Start Button. They don't seem to match the rest of the theme at all :(

Well the start button is part of explorer, so you don't HAVE to replace it. :p

I'd also prefer the original details pane, and as long as the icons don't HAVE to be replaced I'm happy. :D

Could you also show us what this looks like?

well people. the details panel wont be changing..

and there is one thing i would like to point..

i didnt like the dark grey of soft7 .. but after using it for 3 4 days i started to like it..

i didnt like it at first .. but ur eyes get used to the white.. after a while.

And well the LIVE PREVIEW WINDOW is under construction :)

its not done as of yet..

only that and the SHOW DESKTOP button remain

people ive uploaded my theme for now..

I am busy these days so i will be working on it later. But ive uploaded all it is as of yet so grab it to try :)

here is the link Win7-Blend for Windows 7

Awesome I'll give it a spin and get back to you on how it is under x64.

Seems to be working fine under x64 (Y) :)

I still think the close button hue needs to be a bit more red/deeper/vibrant, it looks a bit orangey just now. If that's what you're going for cool, just my feedback.

Anyone have any good Windows 7 inspired wallpapers to match this theme? Default Windows 7 is a bit too vibrant/bright, makes the taskbar hard to read. Thanks

well on my dA ive linked to the wallpaper pack ive used in the preview :)

and to resolve the white background issue just decrease the transparency..

and search dA there are alot of awesome wallpaper packs to use.

And yes i went for that red but then the the gradient has to be reduced to just red.. right now its a bit orange at the middle and red at the ends.. if i bring the orange to red.. the glow looks odd. :)

so i had tested this alot and i find this the best. But room for updates is still there when im free to complete my theme.

Is it just me, or do the taskbar buttons not update in x64. :p

the taskbar buttons are not touched right now. :)

ill do them when im free but till then enjoy the rest of the update i just released because you really wanted to test it :D

ok ciao!!!..

I found a really wierd bug. As soon as you hover your mouse over a min/max/close button, it fades for a second, gives it a border and regular visual, then goes into the clear button. Just doesn't look right. :p

And the "Show Desktop" button doesn't fit in. Otherwise, loving it so far! :)

well that bug is in every theme i think.. i think its related to something else..

orite..

that bug is due to the original theming property or something..

if u use the whole button area then it does that..

i will c if its fixable..

:)

ill contact someone whos theme dont do that! :) but i know about the bug. and the show desktop isnt complete yet

i using restorator 2007 trail for import export of files.

Dont use resource hacker. it wont show png files unless u extract.

then i use photoshop to make my own version of the specific png (e.g. buttons, glow, superbar shade, window borders)

and then i save them and import them. But if u see weird white stuff around ur new png then save it with photoshop in .psd format, and use GIMP to open it and save it as PNG .. then the white thing dont show up. Its a photoshop issue.

:)

goodluck

I like it all so far, i'm using it now... by the way, when I took the Border Padding and placed it to "0" It nearly gives me Square Corners like I asked... so now It's pretty much amazing. Thank you! I added it to my favorites on dA!

PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
