Top 10 Upcoming DirectX 11 games

+1 Hahaha, I all forgotten about Alan Wake. I thought Microsoft dropped development on it.

Nah, it's just the PC version has been on hold/delayed for now. MS already showed the game running on the 360 back at E3 etc. If they delayed the PC version to move it up to DX11, it would make sense, which could be the case as MS would want something of their own to brag about DX11.

It'll come, I'll probably get it on the 360 in the end though.

Oh my BF3 looks GREAT!!!!

I just finished pre-ordering BF: BC2 so it should hold me off until BF3 hits the market. /me feeling giddy!

Uh that screen shot in op is bad company 2...

like others saying though I really doubt alan wake will come out on dx11 give the game maybe another 15-20 years till we see it i think if at all.

They all look good except Alan Wake. I see that as the biggest flop of all time.

I doubt that, not with the team that's working on it. If the original Max Payne games are any indication, the story IMO will be good, and the gameplay as well. Now if all you care about are the graphics, well, that's a different subject.

The E3 gameplay on the 360 I remember seeing for it looked great. But maybe that was just me.

One thing I really hope Crytek nails down for Crysis 2 is the foliage.

In crysis/warhead it looks like a green mesh.

really ruined the look of the game for me, otherwise it was beautiful.

The foliage in crysis/crysis warhead is hands down the best foliage I have ever seen in a game. Thats the very best thing crysis currently does...

agreed

i just hope they fine tune the performance well this time

Your right i think Alan Awake for pc is fairly up in the air right now, I really hope it comes out for pc, although then again it really is turning into the kind of game that can only disapoint after so much hype and delays.

And lol at everyone frothing over that BC screenshot thinking it's battlefield 3. It really doesn't look that great anyway!?!?! Over the top lighting!?!?! Maybe a wee bit!?!!

I don't think Alan Wake has been hyped, true at first, but it's all died down really. E3 brought it up again in the spotlight but that's not the same as some other games have been. I have faith that it'll have a good story at the least. The gameplay also looked interesting. As for the PC version, I'd like to believe we'll get that as well, though probably 6 months or a year after the 360 version comes out.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates.
