What's a good Windows 7 Twitter client?

Question

I'm having to search for a Twitter client (again), as TweetDeck was causing my browsers (Firefox, and even Google Chrome) to freeze when going on intensive sites, like Google Mail.

I'm looking for a client that's good looking, doesn't take up too much RAM (I'm fine if it's below 100MB), can be minimised to the taskbar, will let me show more than one column at a time (i.e. let me see my main feed and my mentions at the same time), and can also intergrate with Facebook.

I should point out that before I used TweetDeck, I used Sobees Lite, which worked well, but now the latest version doesn't work on my PC, so I went back to TweetDeck, but that went ###### up. I just tried out blu, and it looks brilliant! But that's about all it's got going for it. That's the only feature it's got from the list above, and on top of that, it will only update every two minutes at the least.

So, what's your suggestions?

EDIT: Oh no, I just realised I posted this in the wrong section! :p Could a mod please fix this?

I used to use Twhirl for a bit until someone from this forum introduced me to DestroyTwitter and have been using it since :) It's pretty lightweight and looks pretty good. Been using around 35MB atm but it doesn't have Facebook support though :(

I don't really use a client, but a Firefox Add-on. Echofon (it used to have a more twittery name), it shows how many messages in the corner of your firefox windows, and just pops up with all your tweets when you click it. Also, power twitter isn't bad for enhancing your twitter experience.

I'd highly recommend Seesmic for Windows which has the native Windows UI and doesn't use as much memory than the Adobe AIR apps. I've been using it for some weeks now and I find it very good. It's still a little buggy at times though. :)

I used to use a desktop client, but now I mostly tweet from my phone. I use Twidroid for that. When I'm at my computer I use HootSuite, which is web-based. When I used a desktop client I used DestroyTwitter, it was a nice client but it seemed to me like it used a lot of memory...

    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
