Complete Windows 7 theme for Windows XP?

Recommended Posts

Hey

I use VMWare Workstation 7's Unity mode because I have a application that is not compatible with Windows 7 and I dont have Windows XP Mode. Id like a theme that makes Windows XP look exactly like Windows 7 with a transparent Window title bar, taskbar, etc so when in Unity, it looks as native as posssible.

Even though I get this theme, I might see the title bar transparent but actually see the VM instead of my host machine but oh well....

Thank you very much :)

well you wont be able to get full transparency native in XP as the theming engine does not support it. You will need WindowBlinds for that. If you just want a Windows 7 theme I am sure there are some floating around on the forum here or on places like deviantart.

Understood :) I guess I will install WindowBlinds.

I was asking for a recommened theme that most looks like the Windows 7 RTM theme (if I cant change the color like in 7, oh well....)

I simply do not understand (I dont mean to be rude) why instead of saying things like "If you just want a Windows 7 theme I am sure there are some floating around on the forum here or on places like deviantart." and " there are themes on Neowin that look alot like full blown 7. ", everyone just doesnt post "Use Google". It would be the same thing...

Im asking for a specific name please :) A good reply would be a link or "serach for windows7rtmthemeforwxpnamehere made by authorofthethemehere. It looks pretty much exactly alike"

First, thank you for posting a name AND a link :)

Second, I remember that this is the new version of XP or Vista transformation back for 98/XP. I didnt go too well but Ill try it out again and see how it goes.

Thanks alot :)
