Top Gear Series 14

yea :/

what was the point? I could see how staged it was even before it was rolling. Wasn't funny at all :/

It was inevitable, we had known the brakes weren't that good on the Land Cruiser since the beginning of the episode, so I was expecting it to roll and wasn't disappointed :p When James went after Jeremy with the machete on Death Road when he "accidentally" rammed him was priceless!

I think they did that to Hammond's vehicle because there was a very high probability his vehicle would roll if he had gone down the slope in it. As was mentioned earlier in the episode he had put huge wheels on it that raised its centre of gravity and perhaps they thought it was to risky to send him down in it. But it was more funnier to have this 'mistake' happen than it was to explain that there was a chance he would die so they'd skip that bit.

I wasn't really impressed with the South America episode, I felt it lacked a lot when compared to other challenges they have done. It felt scripted and was missing their personal feelings and emotion.

This season seems like it's the down turn of Top Gear, but I hope I'm wrong and will continue to keep watching it.

I am going to watch episode 6 now but as far as i am concerned the funniest moment in this series so far is this

From the start of the video till 00:35

tuo koooooool :D

I'm a huge fan of british humor, but that part was just too stupid and too scripted to be remotely funny.

Um... Of course it was scripted. It was not one of the spontaneous but scripted jokes they usually make neither trying to persuade you that it was.

Still i found it very funny.

I think I'm done with Top Gear - it's become a pale imitation of it's former self... it's almost as if the 3 hosts have been replaced by actors pretending to be the 3 hosts.

Every series is becoming the same:

"Oh let's go on holiday"

"Oh let's find the best driving road in XYZ"

"Let's race long / wide / otherwise not-normal vehicles"

"Let's build something and then drive it somewhere to see how people react"

"Let's start a fire"

"Let's do a ridiculous challenge like fly a blimp built from a car"

"Let's get given ?1000 to buy an old car then go to a destination for the stig to race it. On the way we'll break down, go the wrong way, bump into each other's cars and generally be c*cks"

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
