Well I learned that those Sony MDR-G42s are not sold anymore :(

I run a lot and headphones that stay on are really important to me. I also didn't want to spend more than $25 on a pair.

They're basically the same as what you have now but with athletics in mind. If you want better sound, then I suggest increasing your budget to around $30 and look at these:

I heard Sennheiser were some of the best headphones around but I didnt want to spend much and on top of that I did not know they made around the neck headphones.

It's the best selling behind the neck headphones on Amazon. The bass should be comparable to the Sony's you own.
