Linux VPS: Exchange mail

Hey,

I am currently running a Linux VPS, hosted with Combell, which I would like to install an Exchange mail server on. The only thing currently installed is my forum software, Plesk control panel and the necessary documents for the site.

Does anyone know a capable method of installing an Exchange mail server via Plesk or another way on the Linux VPS?

You're going to need to virtualise Windows for a start.

Other solution would be IMAP. How can I activate IMAP? Is there a free solution? If not, what's the cheapest but good solution?

for IMAP you could probly just install a mailserver like courier.

or if you run any sort of control panel like directadmin, they may have something that lets you install a mail server easily.

I'm running Plesk at the moment. When I setup a mailbox with Plesk (with their integrated service) it doesn't work so I'm looking for other solutions, especially push/exchange solutions to integrate everything with an iPhone and Blackberry.

( Yes, I am new at this therefore my questions my look really obvious. )

Well i guess your only other option is to manually install a mailserver. (or use something like apt-get depending on your distro).

there are plenty of guides of it on the net on how to do it, you just have to search for them :)

I think the kind of solutions that intergrate with iphone / blackberry probably wouldnt be free, but im just guessing, i havent really looked into it since i dont have either of the devices :p
