Did you see the comment in the video though?

It was something like (sorry I saw the video hours ago) "Crap man that guys hacking, someone get an admin...oh wait, ok someone start a kickvote please....oh ****"

Where? I didn't see that. :/

lol best review quote

I firmly believe that for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that our console review is spot on the money. It is a 95% game for those platforms, it's a great contender for Game of the Year and it'll probably sell better than Tamiflu.
Yeah, but the PC version is full of all kinds of exclusive features such as mouse control, in-game chat, and graphics settings!

In-game chat is hardly a PC exclusive feature.

And I for one am for the position IW is taking on this. I abandoned PC gaming in part because of the state of dedicated servers.

They deserved it tbh, if they arent gonna be competitive on PC and make stupid statements then its gonna happen.

They ****ed off alot of the PC Base with their more or less straight up console port.

Dont agree with what the hackers are doing but well I didnt agree with IW either

Certainly would've saved them a lot of negative PR. Or would it? /shrug

Yeah but the problem is, we are STILL talking about it, and still complaining, and 90% of us who were going to buy it on PC are STILL buying it, but just buying it for console.. LMAO..

more like, hey gais if you use IWNET we can make you pay for maps/content now cause you cant make custom ones anymore!!11

pc is way to much of an open platform for these companys to play with now they wanna nickel and dime you at every cornerwhich on the pc is nigh imposible unless you control the platform on which the game is running

To be honest i did think about not buying this for PC (don't own a console) but i decided that i would and it is actually not as bad as people make out. Sure it would be better with dedicated servers but it is more than worth the money so i wish people would stop moaning about it. I do hope that they add them back in in a patch but i doubt it, and the hosted servers work fine most of the time. I haven't really had any problems that i would say are 100% down to the servers not being dedi's. More often than not its my connection.

Not saying that they should've done it like this but it really isn't that bad.

Going past Valve Anti-Cheat is a good way to get your Steam account revoked, though. At least, I was under that impression.

The only problem with that is that hackers don't use legit Steam accounts anyways. I've seen tutorials how to get hacked Steam accounts as well.

Hacking on PC is pathetic. That's what's killing the multiplayer and developers just don't want to invest resources anymore to fight it properly. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at a new generation of whiny kids who don't have the nerves or home education about actually working and learning things but want everything right now.

I don't care about PC gaming. If they completely stop making games for it, I'm fine with it. Playing on game consoles is a pleasure unlike what I go through when I play on PC. Sure, there are limitations but one trade off for another. And if that means I can do 12 or 18 player matches vs 32 or even 80 on PC but without hacking. I'll take it!

Hacking on PC is not nearly as bad as people claim it is. Is it a problem? Of course it is, but that doesn't mean the experience is 100% lousy. Also, IIRC, Halo 2 was nearly unplayable because of hackers, and that was on console. People have currently found hacks for MW2 on the 360 by modding controllers: http://www.evilcontrollers.com/?ref=cj

As console gaming becomes more popular, more people will find ways to exploit it.

Hacking is a very convenient excuse for devs to say they wish to flee PC gaming, however it's quite a disingenuous one at best. Console games offer more profit potential - especially with regards to maps and other pay-per-download content. Such content would be useless on a server browser system, since there is no incentive to purchase new content. However, with matchmaking, all they need to do to garner sales is require the map packs for popular playlists. All of sudden, money starts pouring in. PC gamers detest matchmaking and are true to their dedicated servers. Thus, the "death of PC gaming" is beneficial in the long run for developers, since the more console players, the more suckers people can be sold additional content.

Between being matched with lousy players, matched in lag fest games, matched in gametypes and maps I detest, matchmaking has been an absolute headache for me. I've actually moved from console to PC because of matchmaking. It is such a dumbed down experience for me IMO. I hope Bad Company 2 mops the floor with MW2!

So hacking is the new scapegoat now, eh? Fist it was piracy, now hacking... Wonder what will be next. Let me guess: mouse and keyboard are not accessible for dumbos, requiring actual skill of hitting someone instead of using an aimbot (err, aim assist  ). The solution:
