UPnP transcoding server for Ubuntu 9.10

Morning,

I would love some suggestions for a transcoding UPnP server for an Ubuntu 9.10 box that supports XBox360, PS3 and PSP. The PSP is a nice-to-have, so if we have to drop this, so be it.

Currently, the server has a smbmount which contains all the media required for sharing. I mention this in case this is relevant, although this media will be migrated to a dedicated NAS rather than a Windows share over the coming months.

There is nothing unusual media wise, XviD, DivX, JPEG, mp3 and such.

I would really appreciate some ideas.

Have you had MediaTomb working on an XBox360? I've installed, setup and configured it but had no luck having the XBox360 pick up the server.

A quick search of the wiki indicated that the XBox360 was currently unsupported.

I know it supports the PS3 (and I'd guess the PSP as well), but haven't tried it with my xbox yet.

There's also Fuppes. It's web says it supports both consoles and does on the fly transcoding, but I haven't tried it and looks harder to get working. If you have luck with it let us know ;)
