The Twilight Saga: New Moon Breaks Box Office Records

Since they were pimping out the vampires with bling skin, they should have put some 22 dubs on them bitches while at it. Give them a nice cream candy coated paint job, throw in a sound system, and boom, you got a vampire pimper than eddie murphy.

well i respect all the people who like this kind of movie.. but for me is bunch Cr!@#@!#P .... In my opinion Dark Knight the best

fixed.

14.Bella teaches women to let the man handle everything, which pretty much is a huge step backward for women everywhere, who have fought for equality.

lol ya cause there arent million of woman out there that already live like this. Bella is causing the step backward haha

If you dont like it dont post, i quite liked the first film and im looking forward to this one.

So basically if we don't have a positive thought on the film don't post our opinion and express ourselves? Gotcha.

I can't understand the Twilight craze personally. Perhaps I'd give the movies more of a chance if they had cast better actors.

Seeing as how the third one is going to be directed byt he same guy who did 30 Days of Night it might not be all that bad.

I don't hate Twilight - but it is kind of pointless. We have become a simple audience and if you love Twilight then I'm sorry but you are easily pleased. There are so many better films out there from the past, ones that actually make you think witness an art.

Most people now days are guided by mainstream culture, its not their fault. Its the money making industry that has developed, and ours for being so simple we all buy into it because we are so bored with our stupid lives. (me included)

It's called escapism mate. Nothing wrong with enjoying a "simple" film. I enjoyed Transformers immensely and it's giant robots beating the **** out of each other. I also greatly enjoyed Moon. There are still artful films and still ones a lot of people enjoy. Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a bit of escapist cinema.

And as Rappy pointed out, this movie was showing on over FOUR THOUSAND screens. Of course it's going to make a crap load of money. Hell, 500 people going to watch that movie and paying 8 dollars each, which is low, will net about 16 million in revenue - 500 people isn't a hell of a lot. Really, we can't bitch about teen age girls not wanting to watch an artistic film.

Remember that movie from 1927? Wings? Yeah. It wasn't high art either. It isn't just a generational thing.

WHAAAAAAA! My taste in a horrendous movie that is slightly less enjoyable than getting H2SO4 poured into my eyes is being made fun of! WHAAAAAAAA!

I've never seen these films but seen loads of trailers and they just don't appeal to me, that actor who plays the lead vampire (no idea of his name) is one strange looking man. Apparently girls swoon over him

i got dragged to see it y'day. Didnt really get it tbh, nothing really happened, and seemed a depressing film, seemed like the girl could cut her self at any moment, dont think she smiled once even when he was with the vamp, and the vamp looked like he was gona cry every time he kissed her lol.

If this broke boxoffice records why does the film industry say that no1 goes to the cinema any more as they pirate everything now?lol

Thats what makes it romantic :) I guess? :\

Hmm?

Twilight is certainly not my taste in movies, i prefer action movies preferably war or war related set in modern time but i dont have a problem with WW2 setting, that said i liked Twilight, all this bashing is boring.

I didn't go to see it this weekend mainly because I didn't want to fight the crowds and mostly because every showing was sold out this week at my local theater. My wife has already started up, wanting me to take her to see it so I guess I will soon do just that to keep the peace.

    • For a guy who claims to hate Farage and the ignorant, gullible, rightwing racist skinheads sponsored by Putin that his lies represent, you sure are quoting them time and time and time again, mate. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.
    • Do you live in the U.K? Do any of the people here that are against the UK leaving the E.U, live in the U.K? If not then why are you bothered? If you do live here then it is a different thing . Brexit was a good idea, should have done it years before, it was done badly, but the idea was good. You are saying the same thing as remainers do, oh we did what Putin wanted, we listened to the lies and Farage. I hate Farage and never believed most of what he said, certainly did not believe the £350m a week for the NHS. But we did pay a lot of money to the E.U and yes some of it came back, but what is the point of paying it out for only some of it to come back? Get out of the E.U, no money to them and in theory we can use the money to do things in the country. I said in theory, but our governments are a total and complete waste of space. No matter what colour rosette they wear. You and others say it was a mistake and yet the two main parties in the U.K are not looking at rejoining the EU, I wonder why that is? I was not tricked by anyone. Makes no odds now, we are out and have been for 10 years, what we need is a decent government to run the country. All they do is shout at each other like a load of kids and seems to do nothing and make this country more into a police and nanny state. Getting more like China all the time.

    • Yeah... The root of my comment, ostensibly, is how to spin the story via the actual technical merits of the solution! * Decentralized (aka federated) solution with built-in encrypted ephemeral message transport, * Transport via Relays (intermediary servers) with no message archival, * Second configurable pathway are actual email servers (if DNS records are programmed accordingly) via IMAP protocols carriage, * "Chat-over-Email" is the design pattern adopted; it can either leverage full-blown Email Server (must use the INBOX folder) to exchange all received messages/edits/reactions (so be weary of notifications overloads) [best practice is creating a separate email acct used explicitly for federated chat purposes!] or leverage its built-in Relay Server mechanism which actually resides on-device (by default but can be configured otherwise), * By virtue of be a decentralized/federated model, all other intermediary servers who may pass-along messages (while the recipient's final relay/device is inaccessible) cannot snoop on the messages due to the encrypted nature of contents. The intermediaries may, however, analyze the metadata due to the simple fact that routing mechanisms require hints for relay destinations. Unfortunately, whomever is posting about DeltaChat across socials are misleading with "zero metadata" claims -- especially when the Relays (according to their own technical documents) mandate the addition of chat-version metadata and other decorations in order to actually transport any message. -- Based on this summary, I'd prefer if they'd better dual-path message transport (email server add-in, federated relay engine) rather than patch-on email protocols to existing federated social media frameworks. They're frankensteining something rather than extending widely-deployed technology stacks.
