thealexweb
I have a few questions regarding 7's Superbar: - 1) Do Office 2007 and 2010 treat the SuperBar the same, I mean do they both offer the same level of integration. 2) How far is Firefox with their SuperBar support, does the new 3.6 Beta 3 support it do the same level as IE8 now. I really want the glow to move along as you download I hope it supports this feature now. Xilo
Pretty sure Mozilla removed any inkling of SuperBar support from 3.6. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/847718-super-bar-support/#findComment-591874806 Share on other sites

Erm no I know Jumplists are supported but don't know anymore than that. Xilo
They need to hurry up and put full support in. Winfox is crap and crashes a lot and causes saved sessions to not work correctly. +Frank B. Subscriber² Posted November 20, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 20, 2009 Erm no I know Jumplists are supported but don't know anymore than that. Jumplists are not supported in 3.6 beta 3. Aero peek was removed after beta 2 - it was deemed to be too buggy. The progress bar in the superbar icon is also not a feature of Firefox 3.6. It's planned for 3.7 I believe. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/847718-super-bar-support/#findComment-591874824 Share on other sites
hdood
Firefox 3.6 has no support for anything. No jumplists, no tab previews, no progress bar. The same goes for Office 2007. It's not going to make an appearance until 3.7 at the earliest (or 4). Kyang
Man, what happened to Firefox? I still use it as opposed to Chrome or Opera simply because I prefer the little things in how the interface works in Firefox over those two, but those little things are getting more difficult to defend when I see even Safari supporting new features in Windows 7 that I had hoped would be capitalized on much sooner than they have been... :( . I'm not exactly passing judgment here, just answering his question. Panda X
3.7a1 has Aero Peek still in. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/847718-super-bar-support/#findComment-591875062 Share on other sites
Guest xiphi
Aero Peek is NOT removed, only disabled. Search for "browser.taskbar.previews.enable" in "about:config" and set to "true".
