So I have been running vista for a while now on my main desktop with no issues... I always ran CCLEANER to keep everything running smoothly, but for a while I noticed the .pdf files loose their "associations" with the pdf programs I use, like adobe and foxit reader...
So I thought hey good time to upgrade to Windows 7 (yes i decided to upgrade and not do a fresh install - it goes against my better judgement but too much stuff is on this computer and not much time to backup everything to do a fresh install)
Anyways, so I imagined the Windows 7 upgrade would fix this issue but it has not... the .pdf extension is still broken and it wont STAY associated with ANY programs - i tried open with and then checking that box that says always use this... then I tried right click--properties--extension.. still would not stick
is there any way to possibly re-install the registry? I think when I had ran CCLEANER registry cleaner in the past..it might have saw .pdf extension as unused or whatever and deleted it...
Not likely, of course, that we will see routine citizenship checks as they only involve compliance with existing federal voting laws already on the books for decades. This seems a non-issue entirely. Only fools would have the government rush headlong into an AI program few can understand or predict, or even debug...
